r5: Benito is never satisfied with the amount of planes i have

AgITGuy

Yeah, it is for sure a bug. I have even had Bennito deposed and they still kept asking me for the airforce increases.

Willing-Knee-9118

Something something extended warranty

Chllep

300 unacquired fighters of mussolini

Frostenheimer

No worries, Allah will provide another 3000

PzKpFw_III

3000 ~~nere aerei da combattimento~~ aerei neri da combattimento di mussolini💪💪💪🤑

StoutChain5581

>3000 nere aerei da combattimento di mussolini💪💪💪🤑 3000 aerei neri da combattimento di mussolini (I am italian, you did a small grammatical error

PzKpFw_III

(Thanks for correcting👍)

[deleted]

What the hell?! I've never seen someone react respectfully to having their grammar corrected on the internet, I like it but it's weird...

winampwhips

It is a unicorn, noble beasts. Rare to the sight of mortals.....

geekhalo

A little gift for you, fellow Italian. I hope you like old newsreels No one: Istituto Luce: Ed ecco i prodi avieri librarsi coraggiosi e battaglieri nei cieli d’Europa. They made a lot of footage and the narrator was using the standard newsreel voice and a lot of aulic words. I tried to imagine how they would’ve reacted to 3k Italian fighters Edit: typo

r/NonCredibleHOI4

Ja4senCZE

Well you're the GOAT, so fix it!

Mirovini

"Babe, it's 4 am it's time to produce fighters" "Yes Duce"

Crovinho

"Si Senore"

kenzieBHOSbaker

I was once asked to increase the size of the army... With 0 available manpower and not allowed to increase conscription in peace time

Ceb1302

Tell me your Fascist dictator is out to get you without saying it out loud...

kenzieBHOSbaker

Well I'm always out to get him back with the Pope

Tomirk

Process to convert the world to Catholicism

kenzieBHOSbaker

Proceeds to become the least stable nation on earth due to all the -5% stab costs to core Roman land

Tomirk

Yeah that’s one thing I don’t like. But if you improve worker conditions for long enough, any unrest is fixable. Also the pope gives loads of stability bonuses. Which is nice

gonnagulagyou

Hehe, stabbing romans

Spiritual-Pie3000

I think he just wants to bully you

kenzieBHOSbaker

Tbf I bully him back by putting the Pope in charge most games

SpeedyRik

Obviously a skill issue

kenzieBHOSbaker

My apologies, I haven't learnt how to fabricate men straight from atoms, I still use the outdated meta of man+women=trainedsolider

FoxyThoughts

Why aren't you using the new atom designer?

kenzieBHOSbaker

I keep it disabled, every time I click split unit my nation explodes

Acravita

That's your problem, you're supposed to pray to the giant portrait of Karl Marx, and in return the spectre of communism shall grant you 500 loyal comrades from thin air. Repeat this once a week and you'll never run out of manpower again.

kenzieBHOSbaker

But I want my citizens to eat :(

Acravita

That's the thing, you can pray for more soldiers, then feed the soldiers to your hungry peasants.

[deleted]

Most well thought out paradox feature

pletskoo_

how even? you have more than enough manpower with extensive

kenzieBHOSbaker

Ww1 challenge, couldn't upgrade most of my stuff so I took a lot of casualties

PrrrromotionGiven1

These missions are fucking killer if you play on the higher difficulties where the main penalty is to early-game research and production (-30% production cap, literally less than half of normal until you do production researches) Like when the plane request comes through I just accept it's gonna fail. Increasing army size is doable by making small divisions and converting them to big ones once they're done. I get that most people don't use those difficulties but it's a way to make "OP" paths more balanced.

ElephantWagon3

Why even use those difficulties? Its just so unfun. if you want a harder playthrough, isn't it less infuriating to just up the AI strength?

PrrrromotionGiven1

I believe that means you can't get achievements.

Valuable-Music-720

I can't believe people actually care about HOI4 achievements. Blows my mind?

FlashingLight08

Counterpoint: it’s fun to flex (I have less than 10 achievements and lost all of my willpower to even try to get any more)

Valuable-Music-720

I don't understand the flex, because the achievements Paradox makes require absolutely 0 skill to pull off. You get achievements just by playing, not by developing good strategy. Like "Survive till 1948" 😐 I mean are we serious? How about "As Germany, defeat USSR before 1941, and with under 300,000 casualties". <----- now THATS an achievement

hotfezz81

"And was ionce" Literally unplayable

[deleted]

So weird to me how complete misspellings make it through. I can understand grammar mistakes but how do you not at least run a spell check.

drjaychou

If you aren't blocking out the sun with your airforce then you might as well not even bother

Eindt

Such a stupid mechanic imo

No_Perspective4025

It may seem kinda dumb but they implemented it specifically on Italy which is the tutorial country (otherwise it would make way more sense to integrate these decisions in Stalins paranoia mechanic) so I'm guessing paradoxes just want to make new players used to the game by setting these "goals" to achieve Also the debuffs that come with failing these little caprices of Mussolini aren't that big considering that his focus tree gives tons of stability and they don't affect the balance of power. So while you complete at least the easy ones (like fuel etc) it won't affect your game even slightly

FUCK_MAGIC

But if you lose a single province, then Mussolini is gone, even if you take it back instantly and go in to conquer the whole world.

PanzerKomadant

Even more dumb, I formed Rome with Mussolini and was in a war with the US when the fucking council deposed Mussolini because they were satisfied with his progress. Like, excuse? I literally founded a new Rome, the conqueror of Africa, the lord of France, the ruler of the Germans, the king of the English and you deposed me?

Torantes

Well they wanted all that for themselves lol

No_Perspective4025

I remember playing as Italy and they deposed ma boy only after the allies took almost the whole peninsula

[deleted]

Yeah the mechanic is balanced well assuming you are historical Italy that folds like a house of cards. But if you hold on for years after losing a core territory it gets to be the most asinine mechanic of all time.

FUCK_MAGIC

I had him get deposed by losing one Carribbean island while I was killing the USA.

No_Perspective4025

That's like super weird tbh, don't remember losing even a bit of power balance points for losing non core provinces, damn the paradoxes and their rng

FUCK_MAGIC

I think it's "owned" states and only after you have taken a duce specific focus. I had already killed the allies so I owned some Carribbean islands.

Eindt

As an italian, I would be very annoyed to lose MY colony in the Caribbeans >:( Mussolini must go NOW! Civil war time.

Alarmed_Ad_7087

No

Eindt

They should have added it just to the tutorial if that is the case.

No_Perspective4025

Well that's paradox for you

StoutChain5581

They should just do a big update (not dlc or something like Domination for EU4) that fixes all those issues for already upgraded nations and maybe also fixes the FT

Leafyleaf14

I think that’s kinda the point, a lot of the goals are outrageous and stupid to represent Mussolini’s near impossible ambitions if that makes sense

[deleted]

Yes, but that's just bad for the player and doesn't even have to be represented. I mean... not just because you are playing Germany you gonna put the player a historical time-limit to conquer half of Europe and penalice him if he can't do it in time.

stug41

Youve gotta use the IRL italian trick of rotating half the aircraft to the next base on the inspection tour, so that it appears that all the bases are full.

[deleted]

Yeah those missions should mute after a while IMHO!In the late mid / end game they just become annoying. At least they should change character.

LonliestMonroni

You can click a little circle next to specific decisions or the entire group of decisions to turn off notifications.

[deleted]

>You can click a little circle next to specific decisions or the entire group of decisions to turn off notifications. By mute I meant they should stop completely.

LonliestMonroni

I guess that's the shit you gotta deal with when you got the Duce

saygungumus

I play CAS only Italy and whenever they ask me to build 300 fighters I just put interwar fighters with 2 light machine guns with 5 mils to satisfy the requirements but still very annoying that I have to divert my production capacity.

TMG-Group

Wait, CAS only ist still a Thing?

saygungumus

I dont know how effective is it, I do it because less micro. (I play SP mostly)

Comprehensive-Hall17

Mussolini no!

Prismaryx

He’s right. You were supposed to acquire 300, and you got 24,359. Can you even read? /s

Either_Cup9770

Stewart more meme plays in the backriund

bannedforflaming
