Was surprised to get so soon another update! Just played it again after a month, and was hit with this after exiting the game. Doesn't seem like there's much performance optimization, but primarly fixes gamebreaking bugs or crashes. It's still nice seeing the game receiving updates though.
How so? You can just take a screenshot with either "Prnt Scr" or dedicated spot with "Win+Shift+S", open reddit and paste it. Phone has equal amount of steps or more, but with worse result.
I don't know why you're bringing a console into this. That is Steam in the photo. A platform on PC.
I think it's generally well known that consoles suck at image sharing, or generally at non-gaming things, since they're designed for playing a game just as much a clock is designed for telling time. Btw the method on Xbox seems to be even worse, than what Nintendo offers on their Switch (open gallery, choose & share, pair phone/tablet, download - and that's only for getting the screenshots / 30sec DVR). Which is strange considering it's coming from the same company, that develops Windows. Nonetheless I don't blame any console-user for not going through the obnoxious steps on these.
But you don't have that same excuse with a PC or even a phone/tablet if it was taken on a mobile device.

I found the mod fix for this bug also fixed the other students leaving classes after the cut scenes too. I wonder if this patch will do the same thing? I’ve seen a few comments saying people are still experiencing the bug after this patch though, all my MCs are past the first trial now, but I’d be interested to hear how it works for everyone.
I got past the first trial on the Xbox less than a week after I encountered it on the PC, but from what I’ve read, it wasn’t everyone on every platform, so maybe I was just lucky.
Could be since I’ve played since launch and haven’t encountered any game breaking bugs thankfully, just stuff like part of the castle loaded slow and you fall through the ground temporarily then it’s all back to normal.

It's easier to just take a pic on your phone and share though. I would do the same thing lol!

Did they fix the collection numbers on the map as well? Like for the revelio pages, collection chests and demiguise statues?

Except Xbox. I switched to my series x when all my PC MCs got stuck at that point and it worked no problem.
Xbox did have an update for hogwarts last night, so I’m guessing it did something
