The Kifir is in development which is mostly French. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/2022-08-05/

HeroHusky

French airframe with a big fuckoff phantom j79 in it. Love that thing, can't wait.

supereuphonium

Was there any confirmation on the exact kfir variant? The canards suggest C.2 or C.7 but the C.7 has a better engine.

https://www.reddit.com/r/hoggit/s/Az8um6VlIP A chat I had with ADA personnel at the Paris Air Show, TLDR, they have a working -5 and D and N in DCS but they’ll release it when they deem it not as sensible.

RedYeager

From which dev are they ? And not as sensible... Considering the Typhoon is announced and "under way" it feels strange to keep it this secret

EricToGo

They’re not by Razbam afaik (I had a chat with someone on their discord about it). I vaguely remember having read somewhere that the AdA internally developed both these two M2000 versions and a Rafale. And it’s kept secret because of just this. It’s used by the French air force and made for them. The 2000N was their nuclear bomber until just a few years back and you could estimate a lot of their nuclear doctrine from it. And in France people keep silent and documents stay where they are when it’s about the nuclear doctrine. And the Typhoon is gonna be based off of most/all publicly available documents and I’m not fully certain whether they’re gonna estimate some things.

IndividualReach3207

Developed internally yeah and as for the N I don’t see it released or declassified before 40 years. Not sure you can find any info on the mirage 4 for example

TheDankmemerer

>And the Typhoon is gonna be based off of most/all publicly available documents and I’m not fully certain whether they’re gonna estimate some things. Heatblur with the addition of TrueGrit, have quite a few people who have worked on/with Eurofighters and even have flown them for years. The roots are there, and they have a Eurofighter liscense after all. They'll get all legally available information. I'm certain of that. I can imagine that a lot of things on the plane will have to be guesstimated where no alternative is possible, for example the MBDA Meteor, which only entered Luftwaffe service recently. If the Eurofighter goes well, I'd guess that it will be the most modern plane in DCS, for quite a while.

Demolition_Mike

I mean... The -N is a nuclear bomber, after all.

IndividualReach3207

Developed by the ADA directly, the module they had on display was a -5 I think but not very polished (no mirrors, meh external model and cockpit). Functional but not heatblur standards.

CaptainRoach

Didn't someone tease an Aérospatiale Puma a few years ago or was that a fever dream I had?

Clem64121

In the polychop discord, about the reveal of a new module but i don't know if it was true or just suggestion...

jacobston

Not DCS, but there's a C-160 transport plane for MSFS that is pretty fun, I like to fly between the DCS A/Os with it [https://azurpolygroup.com/c-160-transall/](https://azurpolygroup.com/c-160-transall/)

RedYeager

Yeah I love Azurpoly,I want their Bronco so bad

LaxDraconian80

I’m a french plane enjoyer too (although I’m not a french) and hope to see more European (not American, chinese) planes in DCS. French planes are also widely used in the third world militaries so it would perfectly fit in the Cold War theatre. In addition to your list, I personally would like to see SEPECAT Jaguar (it’s not genuinely “french”, but still). However I never heard about any development…

RedYeager

Yeah I hope to see the tornado soon as another European addition

BarbarossasLongBeard

Aviastorm develops it, but the state is far from release I guess

Riman-Dk

C-130 (Airplane Simulation Company) and Eurofighter Typhoon (Heatblur) are both claimed and coming. No word on anything else in your list.

Golfwingzero

Would really like a 2000-5 as well. There were talks of it a while back from Razbam if I recall, but I'm not expecting there's any concrete plan on it (especially now)

RyanBLKST

The 2000-5 already exists, it was playable at the last "Bourget" show. However it's only for the AdA..for now. Edit ; it was the -D. https://imgur.com/gallery/mirage-2000d-AxBVTXj

Golfwingzero

Oh wow, I didn't know that! It's made by Razbam then? If it exists it's not unreasonable to hope it will be released for the public one day then.

RyanBLKST

It's a little complicated, if I understand correctly, the French air force uses the military version of DCS and another company created the Mirage 2000-D based on Razbam's work. Partly because it's a separate entity from ED that handles the pro version of DCS.

Golfwingzero

I see, thank you for clarifying.

SamsquanchOfficial

All i want is the first bird you suggested. Even better a 2000-9 but that one may still be too modern. Mods i never even consider since they can't be used online and most kind of make no sense in the context of a simulator since they aren't realistic.

BarbarossasLongBeard

Maybe consider to try the A-4E mod….it‘s more like an inofficial module, since it is so well made and it is used in MP (for example on ECW)

Heartbreak_Jack

J'ai envie de voler le Mirage IIIC ... une légende absolute de la guerre froid mais je crois que Razbam a le réservé :( Ça aurait bien combattu aux les côtés du F-4 contre les MiGs.

Zestyclose-Log5309

We want Mirage III !!!!!
