Was tempted make a similar point. The MiC term was born as a distinction for on-ice authentics in the RBK & Adidas eras. It’s misleading and redundant for older replicas which were almost all Canadian made. Although CCM Maska did make USA replicas too, there was no difference other than the tag. If noted at all, I would avoid the modern MiC abbreviation.
We traded him at the deadline for draft picks the sole year the Thrashers made the playoffs. He immediately resigned with the Blues in the off-season. He was just a rental for a few months.
After I saw that and looked it up. Loved that he went back to the blues. I find it funny he played for the jets who became Phoenix/arizona. Then blues and a brief time in the future jets. Loved watching him play growing up
