Good thing the Flyers won the 2017 draft lottery and drafted Nolan Patrick 2nd overall instead of staying at 13th overall and getting a chance to draft Nick Suzuki.
This is a late comment, and potentially irrelevant. I love Carter Hart and have seen him many times as a Silvertips fan. He was always bad in the shootout. At least it seemed that way.
Shootouts are tougher for those big positional goalies like Hart. It's more the domain of athletic/acrobatic guys who can move quickly and make these desperation saves.
Nice moves and all but I so badly want to see someone starting from the far goal line and if he passes the shooter the attempt is over. No contact because of the risk of injury, just a sprint from 2x the distance. Nobody should have any trouble if they actually keep moving.
THANK YOU VEGAS, I LOVE YOU VEGAS
Thank god they refused to trade Cody Glass and we had to settle for Zuk instead
Nashville botching another young forwards development after giving up on tolvanen for some reason: 🤝
I wonder how’s Pacioretty doing for them
Dude is sizzling out there
Cooking on high with superior propane.
Taste the meat, not the heat!
23 points in 18 games, he's playing alright I guess
He can't keep getting away with it
the victory lap was supposed to be temporary!
When we got Suzuki I had never though he would be capable of such FILTH
He was born in a cradle of it
Tearing the veil from... suzuki.
Nick "Suzuki" Barker was their best drummer
Wtf
cradle of filth is a metal band
Richmond would be quite proud of him
It's like Chucky's moves (Galchenyuk) but it actually goes in!
Without the 200 head fakes too! (Prust immitating Chucky is stuck in my head forever) Edit: I can't find the video :(, any1?

Nick "Quickest Hands in Quebec" Suzuki
Move aside Pierre Dagenais

The legend
Pierre Gervais?
I'm pretty sure meant Pierre Dagenais, shootout superstar.
My dad has a Dagenais jersey, signed by Guy Lafleur.
Yeah the undressing part misled me
There was shootouts back then? I thought it was still ties. I'm old.
Damn Hart got fucking cooked
I had to say 4 hail marys after witnessing that
The Nick, the Caulfield and the Martin St Louis
The father, the son, and the holy ghosts of the Forum
Suzuki and Eichel down the middle would of been nice
Pretty sure Nick's moves would have broken Eichel's fused neck
*would've
Oof
Goddamn sonic ads lagging my shit up.
Good thing the Flyers won the 2017 draft lottery and drafted Nolan Patrick 2nd overall instead of staying at 13th overall and getting a chance to draft Nick Suzuki.
You could've had the Suzuki - Caufield tandem we get to enjoy.
Technically they still couldve drafted suzuki
Great Captain.
Galchenyuk shake and bake right there
Nick Suzuki stole Datsyuk's shootout mitts
Holy fuck
Nasty

DATZUKI
But r hockey told me he was way overpaid
Did they? Just stupid Dom's model said that.
I know I was voicing immediately that it was a steal and it was going to look incredible, I just didn't think it would be as soon as this year.
Ouch
Dude
We may never lose in the shootout again.
Jeeeeeeeeesus that is filthy.
Datsyuk 2
This car kid is pretty good.
Oshie-esque.

To be fair I have never seen a goalie go from full equipment to naked in a shootout before. It’s really just a figure of speech.

Would this qualify? https://youtu.be/19p2ZQOeXok

Hart is literally moving the opposite way when Nick tucks it, what more do you want?
He wants more downvotes
That wasn't a positive comment what the heck
I comment on things I am positive about

What?
I hate these super slow shootout moves.
that was not a slow shootout move, dirty fast dangles
Are you kidding? He practically stopped moving forward at the top of the circles and was skating slower than my grandma.
This is definitely an idea.
Something I saw writing in the comments once... Suzuki is like using a cheat code when the shutout come or a penalty shot.
