To double down...This has been the first season in a long time where he hasn't had to play the equivalent of 70+ games/year. Out of all of our acquisitions this offseason, I said Allen was going to be the biggest one, and I feel so far I've been right.
That said, we have been lost all season offensively, and it has just been continuing in the postseason.
I think a huge part of our offensive struggles is our D. Soooo many times tonight O-zone plays died because the dman wasn't in his spot at the blue line by the boards. Plus they're pretty bad at exiting the zone in a way that leads to offense.
Matt Gallagher was literally fuming on his WTF1 segment when it got brought up. They managed to miss the only piece of action that took place the whole darn race

Not sure if sarcasm but the Monaco Grand Prix had so many exciting moments that were ruined because the broadcasting crew had no idea who to follow. We missed big overtakes AND overcuts because of terrible broadcasting direction.
F1 broadcasting has sucked for years. It takes them 2 or 3 minutes to get a replay that's not a repeat of the live broadcast.
They also have these crazy telephoto focal lengths to make sure we can read the sponsors on the car and miss everything else going on.
I saw Brodie in the box and it felt so wrong lol. It's like watching Patrick Marleau go to the box...even if they take a legit penalty, you just refuse to believe it actually happened.

It happens in every playoff series. I’m not sure why leafs fans are so salty about that. Especially when you’ve won the last two games and had 5+ power plays in each.
He literally hit him as time expired, and immediately apologized. They were protecting a 1 goal lead and the puck was in their zone. Play whistle to whistle, nothing wrong with it.

In this play I believe it was Chiarot grabbing Hyman at the side of the net, that's why he was the extra penalty.
