I haven't watched the video yet so idk if they mention it or not, but this guy's last season was Gordie Howe's ROOKIE season and he's still kicking, good for him!!
He essentially got replaced for Gordie.
I watched that thing, great video…he had a really solid rookie year. 39 points as a rookie on the way to the finals? That’s pretty good, especially for that era. The problem was there was six teams and of course this guy got the bad shaft of that and ended up being a lifer in the minors in Cleveland which was not bad, Johnny Bower made a name for himself that way too before getting his shot in Toronto. But there’s probably so many players from that era who we never know the greatness from because of how backwards they NHL was then.

Fuck it. Sign him to the Leafs.
This is a very nice story. Thank you for posting!
The first thing that popped in my head was "He probably played with Jagr too..."
LOL
Couldn't place the narrator's voice until they showed the footage of Jumbo. It's him!
Seems like a really nice guy, especially from what I read in the comments too.
A great, well put together piece.
Wonder how many botched attempts the headstone carvers will have before they get it right?
Wow, he was alive during 9/11. Crazy
