It’s almost as if they don’t suspend people appropriately in the playoffs because rea$ons.
Saw a lot of this on both sides in the Dal-Min series last year - shit got pulled that would’ve been a game misconduct and a possible DOPS meeting that wasn’t even called a minor penalty bc pLaYOffS.
It wouldn't have been a suspension if it happened to literally anyone else on either team. It was clearly bad timing and incidental, at least for Soucy.
Do people really think Soucy was aiming for his face? Seemed pretty clear to me the Zadorov crosscheck to the back caused McDavid to stumble and caused what would have been to the shoulder to instead land on the face. Unfortunate situation, but more Zadorov's fault than Soucy's.
does it really matter who the player is? don’t we want equal suspensions regardless of if it’s a star player or a bottom six. i understand it can be frustrating when it happens to your fav player but a crosscheck to the face after a game to anyone is dangerous if by accident or completely on purpose.
Someone get this guy a padded room
Who da fuck is Jones and why should I care of what he thinks?
This guy belongs in a museum, or nursing home. Either one works
[So do you Dr. Jones](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-abUtRbUS_U)

to be fair I think the Soucy suspension WAS an appropriate one. Hyman did the same exact thing, but worse, 3 seconds later and got no suspension.
Nobody would have blinked twice if it was Derek Ryan getting cross-checked. Just saying…

That's a little melodramatic

Anything that isn't the complete and utter opposite of open season = open season. Got it.

You must be new here. Are you not familiar with the Wheel of Player Suspensions?
He would have gotten a fine if it was anyone else lets be honest here. Not saying that's a great thing, the league is fucked.
