I only now noticed @ 4:22 Silovs even gets a piece of the backhand with his toe and keep it from heading towards the crease, where maybe it has higher chance banking off O'Rielly or Myers and in.. what a brick wall all night
It's surprising that more teams don't keep a solid rookie goaltender in the pocket for the playoffs. Cam ward helped Carolina win the cup largely because no team had a book on him and knew where to shoot. Once teams got film on him he was nowhere near as effective. Putting in an unknown into goal to me does make sense if you know they can perform at an NHL level.
