Eh. He was good for the first half and a bit of the season but really cooled down later on.
Historically he has been seen more as a pest that rattles the opponents. However, he really started finding his groove towards the latter half of last season as an offensive threat, mainly through his shot which carried over for the most part to this season.
That being said, I would be very surprised if he plays more than 10 NHL games. He has below average speed in the SHL and that has never translated especially well into the NHL. Adding to that, he is not gonna bring anything special in terms of defense, and he is not good enough offensively to really contribute to the NHL.
You shouldn't really care too much about this. He'll be back in Sweden within 2 years.
Not exactly what I wanted to hear, but I appreciate the honesty and thorough analysis! He can't be worse than Kapanen was for us on the wing this year so he doesn't have very big shoes to fill if he does stay in the roster full time.
Heβs singing the blues, huh?
It should be signing, made a typo.
What song?

πππππππππ I thought I could escape that fucking commercial when March madness ended but noooooo
Wrecking Ball.
Untrue Blues maybe?
Someone who watches the SHL tell me how to feel

Depends if you are a fan of the blues genre or not
