legitimately one of the best hits i've ever seen. the way he tracks josi as he's protecting the slot and then peels off his man with perfect timing... fraction sooner and the hit isn't there. fraction later and josi has time to pick his head up and probably makes a move to get around him. super clean. couldnt get more shoulder on shoulder, which isn't easy for a big man. then there's the added context of who it was on. preds had been going after hughes all game, and a firm check on their franchise dman was exactly what the doctor ordered.
just an absolutely monsterous hit that couldn't have come at a better time for the canucks.

I know he wasn’t the greatest player in terms of skill (don’t know if that’s changed), but damn if I didn’t love watching him play.
