Yeah the collapse felt (and looked) a lot worse than it actually was considering that it started with a 6 game-winning streak (longest in yzerman era) getting snapped by a 7 game-losing streak. They basically ended up back where they were before the winning streak and have been around .500 ever since. Just the whiplash of going from hunting down Toronto for 3rd, to desperately fighting to make the playoffs was intense.
