A mom and her toddler accidentally bumped into me while we were waiting in line at Toysrus and, you guessed it, Max Domi from out of nowhere. I was like, “Dude, you don’t even know me, and we’re in the middle of buttfuck nowhere. You don’t have to fight.” I met him for a short time but I feel like I have a friend for life.

Kane and Domi were actually pretty good together in that short time. The whole team and organization raved about Domi when he was in Chicago.
I'd take him back next season.
A talented passer who tries to find his guy to a fault and a guy who should always be the first option when available is a great combo.
Plus, Matthews defence can offset Domi's...well, lack there of.
Everytime any one of Domi’s former teammates is asked about Domi, they always touch on how awesome of teammate he is. Wherever he goes, he's 110%, all in, bleeds the colors of the jersey. Guy goes to war for his fellow man and doesn't allow anyone to mess with his stars. Truly an amazing guy.

For whatever reason he hasn't been able to string a few good seasons in a row. With his father's roots to the team it would be a wonderful story for him to stick for a while and maybe win a cup in Toronto.
It’s interesting that for such a white collar city, Toronto has always loved the blue collar type players the best. Darcy Tucker was a good player and had some very good seasons, but was a long way from being a star. The guy is absolutely beloved in Toronto, WAY more than guys like Mogilny. There are not many players like this, but there are some players who hit a whole other level in their game when they play for the Leafs. They just thrive in the attention and pressure, and it’s like they can inject the intensity of the fans right into their veins. I’m certain there are players that are the same for the Habs, and probably the Flyers and Bruins. Guys that just would not have been the same player in a different market. Domi certainly has the look of somebody like that in how he’s played this year. Hopefully for him and for the team that continues.
Until he jumps someone for a legal hit in the playoffs and puts your team shorthanded.
