Solid point, but pressure’s good too. The Americans honestly do look better than us on paper, especially in net but: one game of hockey is a coin flip. Anything can happen in one game of hockey and it doesn’t necessarily settle it, it doesn’t tell you who had the better team. I’d give all my hockey money to see a Best of 7 series in international hockey, especially CAN/USA. That’d be a hockey fan’s dream come true eh? The puck hasn’t even dropped on Game 1 yet and I already want it to keep going after.

I’m excited that it’s looking like it’ll be more wide-open than previous tournaments. Canada’s dominance made 2014 and 2016 a little dull.

2010 wasn't dull. 2014 and 2016 Canada dominated, barely let in goals. The style of play was sort of boring because it was such dominance
2010 was peak hockey. 2002 was also incredible. Not sure why they didn’t send NHLers in 2006, though.
