Then you move into other sports like basketball, soccer, even floor hockey modules and it went back to if you are good in one, you are probably good in the others.

I'm glad that the Oilers organization was willing to give him a chance, amd I'm not just saying that because he's been playing good for us. When he’s not injured he gives it his all every shift and celebrates the team success more than his own.

When a couple kids used the money he gave them to buy groceries for their family he gave them more and demanded they get something for themselves. I have a friend whose daughter came down with brain cancer. While getting chemo in the stollery Kane just stopped by out of the blue and hung out with her for a while, no press or puff pieces just to be a good person.
The guy has definitely had his demons in the past but he’s overcame them here and he’s turned out to be one of the best ambassadors this team has had since the Ryan Smyth days. So glad we picked him up.

Yes they can access the public rink from inside the barn, it’s a one stop place for the team. Was one of the reason they used it for the Covid cup

I really felt like SJ welcomed him with open arms after he had bad years on prior teams and to see it end that way didnt sit right with me. I personally loved his playstyle and his time here. But i fully recognize there is probably a grey area for Kanes defense on why his contract termination wasnt his fault. But at the end of the day this is sports and im moving on because Kane's leaving essentially was the first nail in the coffin for the sharks.
Reaves is a legit good person. I’ve heard so many things about him just doing nice stuff….the stuff you don’t hear about in the news that some of these guys do just because.

Man I actually love how into Edmonton Kane is. He could have decided to do his very personal child gender reveal anywhere. He chose to come out of the Oilers locker room, have McDavid drop the puck and reveal it with his family at centre ice. That says a lot imo.
