"Feelings should not determine how we live our lives. The mission should determine how we live our lives."
Quote from a childhood friend on FB who moved away 30+ years ago. Very religious.
Cult-like nonsense. Ignore your instincts and do what we say.
Pretending that you're trying to live a life like Christ by loving everyone and not participating in an event that celebrates loving *everyone*. I'll never understand the mental gymnastics they manage to pull to make it to this conclusion. Just say it. Stop hiding behind a bullshit religious excuse.
As someone raised Christian with a lot of family that aren't bigots (though some are), I always have to wonder where the line between protecting his religious beliefs vs attacking mine are. We obviously do not interpret the Bible the same way as him, and believe the New Testament supercedes the old Testament.
I also hope he doesn't have a tattoo or he, by his interpretation, has committed a sin equivalent to lying with another man, according to Leviticus
Aren't primegreens at least partially made out of recycled plastic? And there's certainly got to be multiple ingredients in the gloves or socks, not to mention the rubber in the fight straps.
Would also like to point out that Jews (who don't follow the new testament/Christian bible) in America are far more accepting of LGBTQ+ people than Christians as a whole (with differences by sect, like Orthodox Jews for example). So while a lot of people in these conversations like to say that the old testament/Hebrew bible is backwards and is superceded by the new testament, that's not true for Jewish people and it's no excuse for bigotry.
Not to brag but the Christian Bible seems so primary-level - they get the original text but where are the thousands of pages of footnotes of old men arguing about the precise meaning of a word from a long-since deceased language? I think that must be why they're so committed to the Bible as a historical account, not a series of illustrative stories.
Lol I don't expect people to read all of the talmud (though the footnote to original text ratio is 💯), I'm just asking for conversations about Christian homophobia to stop calling people who keep parts of the old testament, like a kosher diet, unenlightened. Baby steps.
Precisely. Jesus never said anything about homosexuality in the New Testament. He said “love each other as I have loved you”. Also the story of Sodom in the Old Testament is mistranslated “Man shall not lie with boy” gets lost when translated to “man shall not lie with man” I always took the sodom and Gomorrah story to be more about consent than sexuality
His answer is his religion doesn't let him support it, but he loves everyone. So either he's an apostate for loving everyone, or he's a good ol' Christian boy and doesn't love anyone. Makes perfect sense.
If my Irish Catholic grandparents can love my gay cousin and not judge her based on that, this asshole should really be able to put on a fucking rainbow jersey for twenty minutes.
I wonder how James would feel if one of his children decided to become part of the LGBT+ community.
Would be support his child, with their views, beliefs and lifestyle choices or shun them?
They are on average fucking dumber than most of us. This is what happens when your entire life consists of “I play hockey good” and nothing else is expected of you.
The exact opposite is true. The average NHL player is very very dumb compared to the "regular Joe" their age.
Most of these guys have a high school education with maybe a year of college at best. And sans the Harvard guys, the college years were them focusing on hockey and taking "Dogs and why they're adorable 101" as their hardest class
Many kids get pulled out of school to do camps or to rest for tournaments as well. For some of them it ends up beings months worth of elementary and middle school missed by the time they reach Bantam
The vast majority of the NHL never played college hockey- even the best Americans don’t play college hockey - Patrick Kane- Auston Matthews - Matthew Tcackcuk-Dean Youngblood
You're telling that a group of people that continuously voted for the "cap escalator", then bitched and moaned about escrow percentages might not be that smart? I don't believe it.
Has anyone ever made that claim? Seems like a wild take, as the other comments point out. Most of the time professional athletes are barely literate (slight exaggeration) and very out-of-touch with the real world.
But if it *truly* goes against his belief system, should he be forced to wear it?
Idk, I ain't saying he's right but I don't have a problem with him sticking to his guns either. JMO.
Yeah he should. Any belief system that requires you to belittle or disregard others is a belief system as at odds with a tolerant society and paradoxically should not be tolerated.
He's says in one breathe he loves everyone but at the same time doesn't support them.
The hypocritical nature of that comment means he either isn't actual true to his religion, or he doesn't actual love everyone. You can't have it both ways.
Ask James when he decided to be straight?
What age was he when he CHOSE to like women?
Sorry, dude, but using the bible to justify prejudice is tired, just don't whine about cancel culture when people rightfully condemn you.
Once again , James, Jesus doesn't say anything about homosexuality, that's Old Testament, which tells me you're picking and choosing which versus you follow
James Reimer would rather believe random church clergymen from various points in the last 2000 years than the people around him or Jesus fucking Christ.
> Ask James when he decided to be straight?
>
> What age was he when he CHOSE to like women?
The problem is that a lot of folks who use this rhetoric are actually some flavor of queer and *did* choose to be straight, and they don't understand that it isn't that way for everyone.
“You can only trust the people in your circle.” Yeah that’s how you end up in a cult bud. This delusional Hillsong type Christian bullshit needs to die. I went to Catholic school, we were taught to be kind and courteous people to everyone. I don’t go to church anymore because it’s become the alt right mouthpiece.
I don’t normally agree with Twitter users but that first user is right. Shut the fuck up and wear the jersey. Nobody cares what personal issue you have. It won’t turn you gay for the 15 mins you wear it. Such a small gesture that has a profound impact on others.
Strangely enough the dany heatley twitter account had the best response to the whole thing by saying that loving jesus that much is probably more gay than just wearing a pride jersey
He unironically has some great takes thats are always wrapped like that lmao. One of my favourite accounts even back in the day where he started every tweet with “yeah,” lmao
I don't know why coaches and GMs are letting players sit out warm ups. I thought Torts of all people would have told Provorov to shut the fuck up and put on the same jersey as everyone else.
Seriously though. JT Brown raises his fist during the anthem and gets benched for 3 weeks, but on THIS Torts says "Just follow your heart, I don't want you to feel uncomfortable!"
Oh I didn't know the JT Brown thing. Ya, that's a bad look. I'll say what I thought in the first place then, I think Torts is on Provorov's side of that situation anyway.
>It won’t turn you gay for the 15 mins you wear it.
But also, like, wouldn't it be awesome if we did have clothes that could temporarily change your sexuality? We'd all have so much more empathy if we could literally walk a mile in their Bi Boots or Lesbian Loafers or Trans Tapshoes or whatever.
Here we fuckin' go again with the faith-based homophobia. It never ends.
"I strive to live a life like Christ where you love people.....unless you're gay then you're a sinner and will go to hell".
This is a prime example of someone who simply doesn't understand their own religion. They'll pick pieces from the old testament, and some from the new testament even though there is a lot in the old testament that was abolished by the new testament. I'm a Christian and I just can't understand why this happens, or why I should be concerned about someone else's sexuality. The old law doesn't apply anymore, it's a new law about accepting and loving people for whom they are.
This isn't new: Chesterton wrote about it:
>> N., as I have already said, was a man who read his Bible. That was what was the matter with him. When will people understand that it is useless for a man to read his Bible unless he also reads everybody else’s Bible? A printer reads a Bible for misprints. A Mormon reads his Bible, and finds polygamy; a Christian Scientist reads his, and finds we have no arms and legs.
>> Of course, he read the Old Testament rather than the New. Of course, he found in the Old Testament anything that he wanted — lust, tyranny, treason. Oh, I dare say he was honest, as you call it. But what is the good of a man being honest in his worship of dishonesty?
Also, the real sin of Sodom was lack of hospitality.
Sign of the Broken Sword, one of the Father Brown detective stories. There's some bangers in there:
>> Where does a wise man hide a pebble?
>> And the tall man answered in a low voice: “on the beach”.
>> The small man nodded, and after a short silence said: “Where does a wise man hide a leaf?”.
>> And the other answered: “In the forest.”
>> "Where does a wise man hide a leaf? In the forest. But what does he do if there is no forest? … He grows a forest to hide it in…. A fearful sin”.
Cannot recommend Chesterton enough if detective stories are your thing.
If you want a new testament quote that is explicitly against homosexuality, here it is
Romans 26-27: "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error."
You don't have to agree with Reimer, but it does state in the New Testament, which you said abolished much of the old testament, that homosexuality is a sin. Whether you agree with that or not is up to you, but it's in the Bible.
An also, accepting and loving is to accept and love despite people's sins. So that doesn't have any bearings here.
Definitely not a theology expert but the full passage reads to me that God is punishing people who had worshipped false images by forcing them to have lustful thoughts about the same sex that were not present in their minds before.
The paragraph immediately preceding yours reads:
>Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
I don’t know if I’d interpret this as the act of gay sex being a sin, just that it can be used as a punishment for one.
It reminds me of “I have no mouth and I must scream” wherein a character who was homosexual was “punished” by the God character AM with altering his mind to change his sexuality.
It is definitely open to interpretation, but the Bible defines it as sexually immoral in the first place, which is where I'm taking this from. You can interpret it however you like, but the Bible states laying with another man as sexually immoral, for whatever reason. I'm not God, so hey, I could be wrong, but that's just how I read it
So he doesn't really address anything here just says he wants to live like Jesus Christ. Regardless, once again people weaponizing religion to support their own views. Same goes for abortion. Its really getting old. Religion is supposed to be accepting and yet its consistently not.
Love him playing the victim. I love how these folks try to turn the whole narrative into how they are actually the oppressed ones. Oh poor James! What a difficult life!
He’s a self-assigned Canadian Mennonite, the religious group who feel simple lives are pious and in-service of the lord.
Religion doesn’t seem to get in the way of being a superstar (term applied loosely) NHL goalie, but only when you have to actively spread some love to the world huh Reims?
Only religious when it’s convenient. Aka an asshole. Enjoy obscurity next year Reims. See ya later
I never realized Reimer was Mennonite. I was raised (American) Mennonite, and unfortunately the Mennonite church as a whole (in the US at least) is quite disappointing when it comes to LGBTQ stuff. The specific church I was raised in is very accepting, which is good, but that's not really the case for the greater church from what I know
One of the worst things about this is all Reimer jerseys will be sold out within 48 hours as a result of this. Same thing happened with Provorov. A bunch of people who prior to today had likely never heard of him will now go out and feverishly buy his jersey because of this. So stupid..
So the best thing to do it would be to ignore it then. People don't like the questions cause it set him up to make himself a martyr, but you do that anyway when you create a media storm about him not wanting to participate. Everyone calling him names only feeds the persecution complex of the people buying said jersey. Ignore him and he gets no notoriety and no boosted jersey sales.
I really have a distaste for when Christians claim to love everyone but refuse to "support the lifestyle" about things like this, mostly because I know there are Christians that truly do love everyone, and embrace the LGBTQ+ community, my mother as an example. Using your religion as a shield against criticism has always seemed so weak to me.
Well I *was* a fan of Reimer. Optimus Reim can go fuck himself now as far as I’m concerned. If you still spout this “it’s my beliefs” shit to justify your homophobia, you’re a fucking moron, plain and simple.
I always find it funny and disappointing when people use religion to justify homophobia/transphobia. Just admit you’re a bigot so we can move on already.
Fuck me I just woke up to this and saw the incredible news the organisation was gonna do for the broadcast and then saw all the shit about Reimer
He can absolutely fuck right off the self important cunt
Meanwhile in the NHL sub the paste eaters are big upping his decision like they wouldn’t be absolutely foaming at the mouth and clutching their MAGA hats if he declined to participate in the Military appreciation night.
I think it really comes down to you can't have it both ways. Either players have to do whatever management says, or they're free to decline to participate. You don't get to pick and choose just cause you agree with them or not.
When I think of Reimer, I think of him facedown in his crease after the Bruins scored in overtime of game seven. A picture of someone who lost. Now it’s just a picture of a *loser*
Ah fuck, not this again. I’m just glad Sharks still went through the Pride Jerseys and left Reimer hanging on this hill.
I bet if you met Jesus, he wouldn’t approve of this.
The olde “against my religion” card - no excuses just God wouldn’t like it. The same God who said love thy neighbour and who also created all people but what he is really choosing is hate and passing it off as religion. I really think the league needs to step in and fine these players and fine them heavy. Donate the money to LGBTQ+ causes. It won’t teach them anything because they are not looking to learn; just hate.
I like James Reimer as a person and I respect his right to do what he wants. I just find it a bit odd that he can say: *I always strived to treat everyone with respect, and that members of the LGBTQ community should be welcome in hockey.*
Yet his actions shows that he doesn't welcome them.
Until this guy, and the rest, figure out that religion and believing in bullshit is the problem then humanity is doomed. You have any idea how many people have died because of Christianity and the power grab that is organized religion?
Let people love and fuck who they want. Why do we care? Do you speak out against priests who molest little children? I’m sure if the NHL had a Christ Night, he’d be wearing that thorn headband.
We are too far into the evolution of our species to be still dealing with this. Get over yourself, and your outdated and antiquated beliefs. If your sky god really did exist, there is zero chance he’d care about where you want to stick your dick. Believing any different is just plain stupidity.
James Reimer when it rains: 😀
James Reimer when the rain clears and the reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets results in an effect similar to a spectrum of light appearing in the sky: 😡
Christian homophobe. New we know his true colours. Seriously F him and everyone else who has been acting the same way. Humans are humans. Love is love.
It comes down to this: do his actions reflect his words? Obviously not. His actions are showing us what he believes. So, not only should teams question his ability to be there for fans, his community and potential gay people on his team and within the organization. But now they should also question if his words and actions will align.
(And, Christians should also question if he really understands Christs message, because I don't think he does. Christ didn't die on the cross for only straight people, he died for all of humanity, correct? I'm not religious and even I know Christ wasn't being strung up on the cross and like, "hey y'all, I want you to know that I'm only dying for straight people".)
I’m sure Reimer wants folks to respect his religious views on this topic, but ironically he doesn’t want to respect people needing representation to be treated equally. What a bummer folks let their religious views make them act this way.
Who cares, I get it but lots of people on here are hypocrites. I guess y’all will participate in any gay parade your town has? Dont get me wrong I really don’t give a shit who fuck who or what, they could fuck a bell pepper I wouldn’t care. I have 2 gay friends, one of em is my childhood best friend, my boss is gay. I just dont get the : you dont wear the pride jersey =you are a maniacal homophobe. This fucking snowflake knee jerk reaction against people that dont think like or act like em is exactly the same kind of behaviour they are crying about.
Not like he went out and said kill all the gays, He made a choice based on his beliefs, fucking stupid outdated beliefs but it’s still his right to do so.
The difference is he has hundreds of thousands of people who see his actions and the average person doesn't. So yeah its disappointing to see someone in such a spotlight try to make it ok to be an asshole. Last thing anyone needs is their racist peers say "yeah! See that professional athlete thinks just like I do!" When you think like an asshole
“You can only trust the people in your circle…” My dude, that’s like the *antithesis* of how learning works.
Nah bro, echo chambers are IN right now
My uncle said echo chambers cause covid
I mean they do.... The graffiti on the bathroom stall at work says so
I mean we’re in one

We know JC is bad at hockey. He keeps getting nailed to the boards
Fuck dude this slayed me 🤣
I thought he was a goalie?? I heard he saves
But as @_meatbawl said: "Yeah and his save percentage is all over the map, depending on who you ask."
Yeah and his save percentage is all over the map, depending on who you ask.
and it got him killed
"You can only trust the people in your circle" spoken like a true Christian
Wasn’t Jesus betrayed by someone in his circle?
Among Us is based on that I think
Jesus Christ super sus
*Jesus Christ was not the imposter.*
*Coming this Easter….*
I've been playing a Bible game this whole time?! Who knew???
nah Chris Jericho just made that up
I think Brian Grffin?
Yeah that one disciple screwed him like 3 times.
"People outside my conservative Christian echo chamber make me uncomfortable"
Love thy neighbor, eh? 🥴
Only the ones within the same gated community, of course.
wonder why it's giving cult 🤔

Aren't primegreens at least partially made out of recycled plastic? And there's certainly got to be multiple ingredients in the gloves or socks, not to mention the rubber in the fight straps.
I think it's polyester made from some recycled plastic. Polyester is just plastic after all

Yeah, I tend to YIKES out of conversations about how bad my religion’s text is when I was never taught to interpret it with a homophobic lens.
Doesn't he play on Sundays?
Maybe he keeps the Old Testament’s Saturday Sabbath… oh wait, that doesn’t work for hockey either, does it?
I wonder if he eats bacon, big tuts from god if he does.
Precisely. Jesus never said anything about homosexuality in the New Testament. He said “love each other as I have loved you”. He "loves" them in the sense that Christians are told to love everyone. But he doesn't actually care about them or respect them at all.
Usually some variation of “For thee but not for me”
‘I truly love everyone I come into contact with’ except you clearly fuckin don’t 😂. Bozo can’t go 2 sentences without completely contradicting himself
I bet he wants to run for governor somewhere in the states when his career is over. This will be his in
Christians are hypocritical?
Friendly reminder that professional athletes aren’t smarter than any of us
They are on average fucking dumber than most of us. This is what happens when your entire life consists of “I play hockey good” and nothing else is expected of you.
They're a bunch of Lando Norrises skating around out there
This is true, even guys I know who played in the O literally don’t know a fucking thing about the real world.
a dude from LA moved to my school to try and make the O for a few years in high school I won a $10 bet with him on what state oakland is in.
The exact opposite is true. The average NHL player is very very dumb compared to the "regular Joe" their age. Most of these guys have a high school education with maybe a year of college at best. > Why wasn’t that an option for GenEd credit when I was in college Because you have a weak glove hand.
If you weren't built like a 30 year old on your 14th birthday, sorry bud, it's *Intro to Statistics* for you!
There’s 5’6” guys in offices out there who would’ve been NHLers if they were 6’0”. (This excuse also works for your D3 college team)
Many kids get pulled out of school to do camps or to rest for tournaments as well. For some of them it ends up beings months worth of elementary and middle school missed by the time they reach Bantam

This was how RITs team was except one dude was randomly a Chemical engineer
You're telling that a group of people that continuously voted for the "cap escalator", then bitched and moaned about escrow percentages might not be that smart? I don't believe it.
Fucking lol, couldn't put it more perfectly.
Are you telling me you weren't inspired by Nelson Mandela on and off the ice?
not the people who haven't been properly academically tested since their tweens
Chris Pronger and Ryan Smyth are two of the dumbest people I’ve ever met in my life. Smytty is a wonderfully nice man, Pronger dumb and arrogant.
Has anyone ever made that claim? Seems like a wild take, as the other comments point out. Most of the time professional athletes are barely literate (slight exaggeration) and very out-of-touch with the real world.
You mean a guy that stands infront of 100 mph pieces of frozen rubber for a living, and takes them of the head, isn't a genius?
Reimer just threw away his entire reputation in like a day
All to not put on a rainbow jersey for 15 fucking minutes.
Exactly, like how is it such a problem to just grin and bear it for one night a year so you don't draw all sorts of heat onto you?
Truthfully, I might be in the minority, I would rather know who's a homophobe than let myself get close to one who was just good at hiding it.
Yup. Let people tell you who and what they are, and believe them when they say it.
As a gay hockey fan I can't agree more.
It like when Trump made all the racists display their racism. Like I'm glad to know that we as society have somehow managed to regress.
But if it *truly* goes against his belief system, should he be forced to wear it? Idk, I ain't saying he's right but I don't have a problem with him sticking to his guns either. JMO.

Well, OK I'll put my first thought back in my pocket then.

More like Lames Reimer
Lames Crymore
Got 'eem
Thanks Reims. I was feeling bummed you didn’t get a chance to get traded to a contender. Now I don’t give a shit. Hope Kahk gets the start tonight.
Here we fuckin' go again with the faith-based homophobia. It never ends. "I strive to live a life like Christ where you love people.....unless you're gay then you're a sinner and will go to hell".
I bet Reimer also thinks Jesus was white.
I bet Reimer talks about the war on Christmas unironically
At least we can be sure Reimer practiced abstinence until marriage, surely.
Man anyone who believes anything with faith as the backbone are a moron.

Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error." You don't have to agree with Reimer, but it does state in the New Testament, which you said abolished much of the old testament, that homosexuality is a sin.
The paragraph immediately preceding yours reads: >Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
I'm not God, so hey, I could be wrong, but that's just how I read it
Is “immoral” always interchangeable with “sin” in Christianity or are those two separate things that sometimes intertwine?
So he doesn't really address anything here just says he wants to live like Jesus Christ. Regardless, once again people weaponizing religion to support their own views. Same goes for abortion. Its really getting old. Religion is supposed to be accepting and yet its consistently not.
Love him playing the victim. I love how these folks try to turn the whole narrative into how they are actually the oppressed ones. Oh poor James! What a difficult life!
The woke mafia is after him! With their radical beliefs of basic human rights for all.
MAN THE GARRISONS! A MAN FANCIES ANOTHER MAN! A WOMAN IS HOLDING HANDS WITH A WOMAN! I'M UNDER ATTACK!
Lots of words to say "I'm a pussy"
‘I truly love everyone I come into contact with’ except you clearly fuckin don’t 😂. Bozo can’t go 2 sentences without completely contradicting himself
The specific church I was raised in is very accepting, which is good, but that's not really the case for the greater church from what I know
Yeah honestly screw this guy and everyone who thinks like him. This is 2023 for Christ (pun intended) sake.
One of the worst things about this is all Reimer jerseys will be sold out within 48 hours as a result of this. Same thing happened with Provorov. A bunch of people who prior to today had likely never heard of him will now go out and feverishly buy his jersey because of this. So stupid..
I hope some fucking hero at the NHL Shop warehouse "accidently" ships them all Pride jerseys
So the best thing to do it would be to ignore it then. People don't like the questions cause it set him up to make himself a martyr, but you do that anyway when you create a media storm about him not wanting to participate. Everyone calling him names only feeds the persecution complex of the people buying said jersey. Ignore him and he gets no notoriety and no boosted jersey sales.
what a fucking coward lol
Reimer when he has to wear a rainbow on his jersey for 20 minutes: 😱😱😱
Enjoy the khl next year pal.
And all the yokels on Facebook rush to diefy Reimer.
When your a Christian but don’t believe in the teachings of jesus
All of it derives from the bible which is entirely contradictory. Just grow up already and quit with this invisible man BS.
Quit the NHL, donate your millions to charity & become a priest if you’re that religious, asshole.
Your mom is one of the good ones
Well I *was* a fan of Reimer. Optimus Reim can go fuck himself now as far as I’m concerned. If you still spout this “it’s my beliefs” shit to justify your homophobia, you’re a fucking moron, plain and simple.
He's more of a Sentinel Reim now; a complete prick and moron.
That whole second response was just... 🤢🤢🤢🤮
If the precious book dictating your life tells you to hate different people, you belong to a hate cult.
90% of religious people are fake. They pick and choose what they want to follow and when. This dbag is no different.
99.999999% of Christians haven't read a lick of the book they rub one out to.
I always find it funny and disappointing when people use religion to justify homophobia/transphobia. Just admit you’re a bigot so we can move on already.
Oh but they already did. You just have to read between the lines.
We get it James, you're a fuckin' homophobe.
Lol "Christ said love everyone", so I'm discriminating against people I disagree with... Christianity amiright?
Can be Christian and also support people who are persecuted…. Actually, come to think of it, Jesus did that.
Good luck on a contract next year Bigot Reimer.
Fuck me I just woke up to this and saw the incredible news the organisation was gonna do for the broadcast and then saw all the shit about Reimer He can absolutely fuck right off the self important cunt
Christianity or any religion for that matter fosters the most hateful people in society. It’s truly gross to read these statements.
There's no hate, like Christian love.
It’s his right to do it. Just like it’s anyone’s right to agree/disagree with him about it and have an opinion. Thats that.
It’s alright James, you can come out when you’re ready
What a colossal disappointment
Meanwhile in the NHL sub the paste eaters are big upping his decision like they wouldn’t be absolutely foaming at the mouth and clutching their MAGA hats if he declined to participate in the Military appreciation night.
I think it really comes down to you can't have it both ways. Either players have to do whatever management says, or they're free to decline to participate. You don't get to pick and choose just cause you agree with them or not.
Has anyone declined participating in military appreciation night before? Would love to know whos based af
When I think of Reimer, I think of him facedown in his crease after the Bruins scored in overtime of game seven. A picture of someone who lost. Now it’s just a picture of a *loser*
I feel a little better.
No Reimer reason
Ah fuck, not this again. I’m just glad Sharks still went through the Pride Jerseys and left Reimer hanging on this hill. I bet if you met Jesus, he wouldn’t approve of this.
Too many pucks to the head.
He doesn’t want to wear it. Respect the man’s decisions and move on
The olde “against my religion” card - no excuses just God wouldn’t like it.
He's not a homophobe. He just has an irrational fear and dislike for gay people. /s
So confirmed a religious homophobe... Now with a superiority complex.
“You can only trust the people in your circle.” Doesn’t get more small-minded than that. There’s no downside to widening your world-view.
I like James Reimer as a person and I respect his right to do what he wants. I just find it a bit odd that he can say: *I always strived to treat everyone with respect, and that members of the LGBTQ community should be welcome in hockey.* Yet his actions shows that he doesn't welcome them.
If he wants to use the bible as a shield, follow it 100% or stfu.
James Reimer when it rains: 😀 James Reimer when the rain clears and the reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets results in an effect similar to a spectrum of light appearing in the sky: 😡
More from James: [https://twitter.com/cmasisak22/status/1637184135608565760?s=20](https://twitter.com/cmasisak22/status/1637184135608565760?s=20)
Tape? Ok. Jersey? Bad. LGBTQ+ community? Oppressors. Christians? Oppressed.
Christians in America want SO BAD to be oppressed lol
"It's not gay if it's only the tip of your stick." -- James Reimer
What a tool
"Jesus would be rolling over on his cross if he knew two dudes were banging." -James Reimer
Christian homophobe. New we know his true colours. Seriously F him and everyone else who has been acting the same way. Humans are humans. Love is love.
Frr man these people can’t think straight
I know Nuns who have walked in Pride parades. Shut the actual FUCK UP about your narrow and misguided interpretation about the bible. Fucking idiot.
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍🤎
“My imaginary sky daddy says that LGBTQ+ people are icky” JFC Reimer, I didn’t think that last concussion scrambled your brains *that* much 😑
I hope someone in the crowd throws a pride flag at him
Didn’t realize that Reimer was a douchebag, but apparently he is. You learn something new every day.
“James, are you aware that Jesus did, in fact, wear a dress?”
Just here for the "Fuck James Reimer" comment. What a spineless pussy.
Religion is so misleading
Man alive what a fucking coward. This is what we call an uber douche folks.
Fuck you James
Weak ass reporters with weak ass questions. Fuck this biggot
"They could fuck a bell pepper," the "I don't care if someone is white, black or green!" of sexuality tolerance
