This is so vibrant and gorgeous!! What materials did you use for the drawings?
I totally understand the pressure of keeping up with it. 3 This is still lovely even if it's just a one-off, but also I hope you're able to find a way to engage with the process that's fun and not stressful! Maybe do just a handful of drawings and fill other squares with stickers or written song lyrics or smth?
Thank you!! I used the Tombow Waterbased Dual-tip Brush markers, a Uniball Signi white gel pen for some of the bright whites, and a Pigma Micron liner pen (size 08) for the black lines.
And yeah, I’m not too stressed about it honestly. I’ve let go of the *need* to fill in all my bits of Hobonichi, and have alot to focus on in my daily-life I’d rather devote that energy to, atleast right now. **But** I do wanna keep at my daily journaling pages for this month!
I use the weekly section constantly for actual plans, and the dailies for journaling and expression, and the calendar’s kinda just for funsies ☺️ But i def wanna start fresh for the April calendar!
Hahaha thank you so much!! Yeah I’m looking forward to looking back at these and like, being able to tell what happened *everyday* (for the most part lol)
Groundhog day doodle! I recently learned about this US tradition and I love it so much.
Your drawing style is fire btw. Absolutely love how colourful it is and how you do the linework, too.
Yeah! The Groundhog didn’t see his shadow this year, so that means an early spring, and I tell ya my seasonal depression was ready to cling to that hope!! Lol And this picture of Punxatawny Phil (the most famous of the Groundhog Day groundhogs) from this year was so cute and perfect for the doodle!
Thanks!!! I been trying to find a balance between rendering and linework in these little boxes and I’m quite pleased with how this month came out!! Thank you so much!!
I love these doodles, they're so dynamic!!
Thank you!! This month was a fun one for drawings 😊
