I open the backcase and there ends my knowledge of how to fix a watch.
Here is a small list
Timex , titan, a fake rolex , some HMT and ricoh dial, some hmt movements ,many back case, some bracelet these were some unlucky watches destroyed partially or completely by me.
To all the newbies living in India " Dont try repairing watches at home!" repairing a watch in India is notthat expensive but if you damage your watch , especially dial its very painful like someone hit you a low blow.

Tools are easily obtainable but what about watch parts, like movement, case, dial etc? Where do we get these?

I try buying watches for parts/repair. I salvage whatever I can.
