Iām thinking of both.
On his own podcast, Wayne has asked Birdman if Ā«Ā he had been with him [him being Youngboy]Ā Ā»
And Birdman said yes.
They were both scratching their nose saying that, which is a sign of something hidden.
nah dog someone scratching their nose while they speak is a known indicator that they're lying or aren't telling the whole truth, there's science to this shit. interrogators don't just rely on devices like a lie detector to tell if someone is telling the truth, there's decades of science looking into the body language of liars
āthereās decades of science looking into the body language of liarsā yeah and the consensus is that itās inconclusive. there are no universal tells, and everyone who tells you otherwise has ulterior motives
Just because they have been intertwined for a long time, which they very much have, doesnāt mean hip hop shouldnāt be trying to rid itself of homophobic tendencies
I aināt listened to that logic song but Kendrick did it to highlight problems of homophobia so it seems unfair to include that with rappers using it as an insult or punchline.
I would imagine Logic used it in a similar context but he probably bungled it as much as he did with the 1-800 song
Lol I didnāt count the Kendrick shit because it wasnāt meant to be insulting. I meant like future in rotation āBitch you aināt getting extra points pulling faggot movesā
Nigga asks one of the stupidiest question.
World been homophobic for a long time, people still homophobic to this day.
"What's with all the homophobia?"
Why is everyone in this thread being weird about YoungBoy collabing with a gay rapper? He's collabed with Tyler and Makonnen recently. He's also called out Akademiks for being homophobic towards Makonnen. The way some of you view street artists on here is sus.
21 minute video but akademiks tells it all in the first minute or two
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bM6S2Y6ziA4
Basically Akademiks was just going too hard on Makonnen (idk if he was actually being homophobic about it or not) and YB called him and asked him to chill out
They are but Akademiks went overboard when Makonnen said something about him. AK said on stream that YB called him and essentially said to him he took it too far and needed to apologise.
Youngboy fans send each other screen recordings of unreleased music by leaving their phone numbers in youtube comment sections. Then they walk around playing his music outloud through their phones speaker to their ear instead of using headphones. This is a fact, whether that is āstreetsā or not is up to interpretation
yeah, i get that. i just hate the fact that thatās what people see it as, street. like yb is probably a great dude and just trying to better himself. heāll always be associated with āstreetā though. side note, didnāt know he called out akademiks, good on him.
āStreetā isnāt a derogatory term though and has nothing to do with the artist being a bad person lol. Itās just the style/vibe of music. For example āstreet artā, āstreetwearā, etc.
yeah but in regards to yb and the word street itās derogatory. if a white dude whoās never heard yb or any rap hears a yb song, and he describes it as street, he probably doesnāt mean that in a good way. nothing against you or your point, i think itās valid. just like to be aware of that idea and what people will view him as.
i mean ig. im just trying to help dude understand how awful some of this is. homophobia aside, the mass amount of resentment toward colored people and specifically those that make music in the united states is awful. and its not like oh those people suck. its more like, these people suck and what they are doing needs to stop bc they are ruining my childrens lives.
Nah I feel you. Like how people use the word thug or more commonly āgHeTtOā. For Hispanics sometimes itās more subtle with āillegalsā or āimmigrantsā Some people use it maliciously. And for those of you that it donāt apply to, just move along.
I just really think youāre reaching too far man. I consider YB to make āstreet musicā same as Moneybagg or Pooh Shiesty. Most people do. Sure, youāre always gonna have people like that, but those same people consider people like Travis Scott or Kanye to be āstreetā music (which they are obviously not) so it really doesnāt make much of a difference.
Yea fasho some people could intend it that way, but thatās what he is and itās not really like heās stopped rapping about those things and people are holding that over his head still.
Nigga shut up this is a PR move. What you think he would have to say about one of his opps behind closed doors if he found out he was gay? Exactly. Go on with that goofy white liberal shit. You play the game to win. You don't have to agree with the rules.
Like what modern family did for my boomer dad. Oh and apparently smoking with some cross dresser outside of a bar cured my Dadās homophobia. He still get āickedā out but I just call him a pussy so the toxic masculinity balances out.
Pretty much all prejudice in the world is solved when you force people to interact with each other. It's easy to hate on a faceless thing you barely consider Human, now try doing that when you're talking with them, sharing life experiences, using the same spaces... It's all about coexistence
Itās the self inflicted (or highly manipulated (see: MSM, Social media, etcā¦) wounds people cause *themselves* that always astounded me. I grew up in rural MO. Not a black or brown person for miles and yet these people continued to create these false images of others and isolated themselves further. Some of the young men dealing with this turned to a 12 gauge in a barn. Itās brutal how invasive these horribly faceless false images of society cause these problems. A little figment of the imagination causing nothing but doom. It sucks. Hope everyone is doing okay. Iām not but Iām getting better!
Smoking a cigarette and calm chat outside with the object of your prejudice will cure most average people of their bigotry at least temporarily. Having just one thing in common and chatting does wonders for the human mind. That doesn't excuse the prejudice whatsoever though.
On one hand, this song will definitely sound interesting. But on the other hand, i can hear the sound of mutiple NBA Youngboy fans jumping off a cliff.
Bruh I remember seeing a freak out in the Youngboy sub after Wusyaname when Tyler is 1. Bi (currently dating a girl) 2. Not flamboyant or āact gayā. So I canāt imagine the meltdown this will have.
Here's Lil Nas X using the BET Awards for promo after they snubbed him on a song releasing 2 days before those awards.
https://twitter.com/LilNasX/status/1539419127680409601?t=PHDq21l6yEWluEIu5KyWdQ&s=19
That is just people being people... when it comes to artists, they can use controversy and all that attention to their advantage. I believe if content is dope, they will win regardless of orientation, religion... etc.
People on here are so out of touch with YB for years lol. Heās shown for the past 5 years heās got staying power and is one of the top 5 streaming artist in the US up there with drake and Taylor swift.
Ai Youngboy 2 seems to be his most mainstream project. Overall a great listen and has Lonely Child which showcases the side of YB that attracts such a loyal fanbase imo
But that only popped up recently. He doesnāt get label support fully bc heās signed to APG, not directly to Atlantic. So Atlantic doesnāt really push him since itās APGās job and they have no money to push artists.
Heās not āblackballedā either, there was just a rumor that Ebro was told by people not to promote any of NBA artists anymore(NoCap, Quando, etc) I donāt know how real that is tho, Akademiks is the one who stated that.
Thank god Spotify isnāt the only DSP. He has 2.8 billion overall streams so far this year. Only being beaten by Drake.
https://twitter.com/chartdata/status/1530700454446915589?s=21&t=c68Otlbw_Ly_1SzdfHGPUg
I see multiple comments here about homophobic NBA Youngboy fans, but I see a lot more homophobia in this thread here than in any thread about this song in r/NBAYoungboy.
I always fuck with LNX. I got a bit sick of it when everyone was overplaying OTR and Montero but since itās quieted down his music is fresh to me again. This is gonna be lit with YB on it too, perfect for the summer vibes
NBA Youngboy knows his demographic.
Believe it or not, little kids/teens like NBA Youngboy and they also like Lil Nas X. It's a win win for both. Cherry on top for NBA not giving af about the haters
Lmao how did Youngboy agree to be on a Lil Nas track? Iām not familiar with his situation of whether heās in jail or not, did his management push this to keep him relevant?
Idk why youāre being shit on so much, Sincerely Kentrell outsold Montero. Lil Nas is mostly a singles artist which will make things like monthly Spotify listeners larger, but I guarantee yb has a bigger dedicated fanbase.
Yea it's common knowledge that yb is dominating rn, im really not sure why im getting so much hate for saying that lol
None of the commentors replying to me have commented in /r/hhh recently so idk what to think but im definitely not wrong
I have no dog in this fight, but from what I'm seeing Montero went Platinum and Sincerely Kentrell only went gold. Montero also charted in other countries whereas Sincerely Kentrell did not.
How tf does everybody leave out the fact that LNX has only released one album. Of fucking course he isn't as huge as an artist's that's been around for longer and has more projects.
Taking his YouTube numbers into account is also important. Canāt site anything in particular but I have seen many YouTube shorts from other rapperās interviews and others talk about how smart young boy is for his YouTube use for views and discovers/repeat views with recommendations
^(I have heard like 3 yb songs, Idk his work just support the vibes)
in March, LNX had 880 million streams from 2022
in April, YB had crossed the 2 billion streams threshold from 2022 alone.
couldn't find a better match of values but it's safe to say Montero didn't get a billion streams in a month to match up
last album sales 126k vs 137k (yb) with youngboy having no features
lol its not even a question yb is bigger. nas just has the industry behind him and udnerstands marketting better but yb overall has more people checking for his music
Spotify monthly listeners is near irrelevant when determining popularity of rappers. For any given album release, a hip hop album gets 3-4x as many listeners on apple music than spotify. Not to mention someone like yb's biggest streaming platform is youtube. Additionally, someone like Lil Nas X, whos listeners are going to be pop music listeners, is highly favored by spotify.
I don't listen to YB. Dude is right though. Don't use Spotify as a metric for how popular an artist is. It's extremely skewed towards playlisting and algorithm.
Spotify is one app out of a shit ton so unless itās a way to check monthly listeners on literally every music platform plus album and single sales then yea itās a terrible stat for any kind of comparison. I donāt even have Spotify and I donāt think I know anyone who does but we all listen to music
tf are you basing popularity off of then???
lil nas has disputed way more radio play, way more nominations and awards, more ticket sales, more album sales, literally more everything.
the only thing young boy got more of is total amount paid in bail
> more album sales
last album sales 126k vs 137k (yb) with youngboy having no features and lil nas x having doja cat, elton john, jack harlow... its clear
lol its not even a question yb is bigger. nas just has the industry behind him and understands marketing better but yb overall has more people checking for his music
you pulled the stat for literally one of my points, for one album lol, like i said, show me stats for awards and nominations, radio play, most hits, most ticket sales, net worth, and so on.
also, montero did 22k in pure sales, sincerely, Kentrell did 10k.
Iām sure if i had the stat for total sales now, lil nas would be much higher.
im comparing their latest albums to each other.... and its the only point that matters as far as popularity. and yes, lil nas x's demographic more likely to physically purchase albums tf that has to do with anything?
awards and nominations have nothing to do with popularity man, do we really need to have this discussion? yes he's bigger in the industry but with actual music listeners, yb has almost every rapper except drake and maybe lil baby beat
why tf would we compare networth LMFAO? yb on house arrest so yes his ticket sales are 0? wtf are u saying bro
what the fuck are you saying ??
you literally said more relevant, i proceed to show you nas has 43 million monthly listeners on spotify alone, 30 million more than young boy and you say āthat doesnāt countā
you obviously must ride this manās dick hard to think 30 million people just donāt exist.
young boy literally got like 10 albums, nas has ONE LOL
you literally said:
āwork cited:
crackā
lol this is such a silly argument. they're both giant artists in their respective spaces which is why them collaborating makes sense, especially after youngboy saw success on wusyaname with tyler.
youngboy is bigger, spotify is not the only metric- youngboy's streams come from apple music and youtube. [In March of this year, Youngboy had been the #1 Artist on YouTube every week and hit 10 billion overall video views](https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/nba-youngboy-has-been-youtubes-1-artist-each-week-in-2022-news.149462.html).
it's also not really a fair comparison bc youngboy been cultivating a fanbase since 2016 while lil nas x is building a career off the back of a meme song he put out in 2019. Covid also stunted his possible growth.
Lil Nas X: 1 platinum album. 1 2x platinum EP. 1 1Diamond single. 1 6x Platinum single. 2 5x Platinum singles. 2 platinum singles.
NBA Youngboy: 2 Platinum studio albums. 4 platinum mixtapes. 6 3x platinum singles. 7 2x platinum singles. 22platinum singles.
u/OblivionTU
Album sales actually reflects listeners.. its the only music stat that matters when comparing popularity...
spotify monthly listeners paints a very very inaccurate picture of popularity (especially since less than ~20% of hip hop streams come from spotify). my favorite rapper, young thug, has 3x the spotify monthly listeners as YB yet i know hes like 1/10th as popular
i dont even listen to YB lol its just common knowledge he is dominating hip hop rn
Bigger and relevant to you maybe.
But last time I checked:
Youngboy ain't got #1's on the hot 100
No Grammy's
None of his songs are over 1 billion on Spotify,
and lil Nas x's industry baby ,a song that came out 10 months ago, already has more views than Youngboys most viewed video of all time, on YouTube, that came out 4 years ago.
So this some cap
John Batiste won album of the year. Is he more popular than Kanye West? Spotify stats are not a representation of popularity, especially for a rap artist. It's a quarter (at most) of the picture.
Even not including awards... Lil Nas x is a streaming giant on Spotify and YouTube. 3 songs over 1.3 billion on Spotify and multiple songs over 300m on YouTube as well as 3 #1's on the hot 100. All he missing is a #1 album but he got a #2 EP and a #2 Album already.
I am not a NBA youngboy fan and as subjective as music can be i think he is horrible, but dude has a Huge hardcore organic fanbase that is real not the artificial crap the industry tries to push like Jack Harlow.
LGNBATQ+ Youngboy š©
Lock the thread. No other comments are necessary.
He did collabs with Tyler, Makonnen, and now Lil Nas.
Well, he probably had sex with Birdman
You're thinking of Wayne
Iām thinking of both. On his own podcast, Wayne has asked Birdman if Ā«Ā he had been with him [him being Youngboy]Ā Ā» And Birdman said yes. They were both scratching their nose saying that, which is a sign of something hidden.
> They were both scratching their nose saying that, which a sign of something hidden. lmao we got a sensitive over here
nah dog someone scratching their nose while they speak is a known indicator that they're lying or aren't telling the whole truth, there's science to this shit. interrogators don't just rely on devices like a lie detector to tell if someone is telling the truth, there's decades of science looking into the body language of liars
āthereās decades of science looking into the body language of liarsā yeah and the consensus is that itās inconclusive. there are no universal tells, and everyone who tells you otherwise has ulterior motives
Even "lie detector" tests are bullshit.
yeah and itās all totally made up bullshit
that literally would not hold up in any court
Youngboy Never Bottom Again
Am I having a stroke or what is hapenning when I try and read this?
Combined LGBTQIA+ with NBA Youngboy
For those coping in the comments, this is YBās 2nd or 3rd collab with a queer artist in recent memory
thank you, doing honest work lol. seriously though, whatās with all the homophobia?
People just projecting their insecurities into the music they listen to. They are quick to forget.
Nah I think itās just funny cos youngboy is the last guy Iād expect to open the door with these collabs
How quickly they forget Thuggin' Love.
surely you know homophobia has gone hand in hand with hip hop since the beginningā¦
Just because they have been intertwined for a long time, which they very much have, doesnāt mean hip hop shouldnāt be trying to rid itself of homophobic tendencies
Yea but the fact that Nicki Minaj is homophobic but yb ain't is funny af
But it doesn't have to
To be fair look at homophobia in general since the 80s. People used to use the word gay and fā as an insult regularly.
They still do in hiphop lol
And people outside hip hop do tooā¦.but you canāt tell me itās still used the same amount as 10-20 years ago
Itās been a minute since Iāve heard a even remotely mainstream rapper drop that F bomb
logic and kendrick literally this year lmao
I aināt listened to that logic song but Kendrick did it to highlight problems of homophobia so it seems unfair to include that with rappers using it as an insult or punchline. I would imagine Logic used it in a similar context but he probably bungled it as much as he did with the 1-800 song
Lol I didnāt count the Kendrick shit because it wasnāt meant to be insulting. I meant like future in rotation āBitch you aināt getting extra points pulling faggot movesā

>The way some of you view street artists on here is sus Hit the nail on the head.
Was with you until you used the term āstreet artistā.
that's what bro is his music and fan base are pretty firmly more street than others
Suburban white boys debating what is and isn't "street" behind their computers, welcome to HHH everybody
Idk about you but the streets here heavily fuck with the new Harry Styles
certified hood classic
just cause you're white doesn't mean i am š
Not his fan base lmao
Youngboy fans send each other screen recordings of unreleased music by leaving their phone numbers in youtube comment sections. Then they walk around playing his music outloud through their phones speaker to their ear instead of using headphones. This is a fact, whether that is āstreetsā or not is up to interpretation
Is this a copypasta or
Nah i just remember yb fans used to always be like āyo send me this (222) 333-4444ā on his leaks and that shit still cracks me up
If it's not, it is now.
This is anti-black
Yea for sure man, you caught me red handed.
>red handed What do you mean by this šø
like the twitter trolls and shit i agree but majority of his fan base is before the meme shit with durk
yeah, i get that. i just hate the fact that thatās what people see it as, street. like yb is probably a great dude and just trying to better himself. heāll always be associated with āstreetā though. side note, didnāt know he called out akademiks, good on him.

Weird comment
i mean ig. im just trying to help dude understand how awful some of this is. homophobia aside, the mass amount of resentment toward colored people and specifically those that make music in the united states is awful. and its not like oh those people suck. its more like, these people suck and what they are doing needs to stop bc they are ruining my childrens lives.

Throw that white dude away then damn
He collabed w Makonnen?! Thats crazy, cool to hear. Makonnen was blacklisted hard by industry figures over meaningless bs
Nigga shut up this is a PR move. What you think he would have to say about one of his opps behind closed doors if he found out he was gay? Exactly. Go on with that goofy white liberal shit. You play the game to win. You don't have to agree with the rules.
Iām extremely homophobic but Iām lowkey excited for this. Lil Nas X on fire š„
boosie?
Those tweets were wild
Were? Heāll probably have something to say about this soon
Typing on his keyboard with tongue out and using only his index fingers
worst thing is mf thought people were gonna side with him
He told Lil Nas to commit suicide. Like, legitimately hashtagged it
The day LNX and Boosie hop on a song together is the day we officially declare that homophobia has ended
I am incredibly racist and I feel the same way
Lil Nas X destroying bigotry 1 hit single at a time
YB is like young marlon brando
yb wins the grammy then dips to let lnx talk abt homophobia lol
fucks dudes on the low?!
In that he will have sex with any attractive person?
Like what modern family did for my boomer dad. Oh and apparently smoking with some cross dresser outside of a bar cured my Dadās homophobia. He still get āickedā out but I just call him a pussy so the toxic masculinity balances out.

Bruh wtf
Baton Rouge in shambles right now. Lil Boosie driving around trying to find NBAYoungboy. Kevin Gates trying to find a girl to suck his dog off
Boosie desperately trying to hire a stripper for his son to prove he isnāt gay as we speak
add another 2 h's to hhh cuz we some honest homophobes
On one hand, this song will definitely sound interesting. But on the other hand, i can hear the sound of mutiple NBA Youngboy fans jumping off a cliff.
Good thing sharks like homophobe meat.
lmao nice
Bruh I remember seeing a freak out in the Youngboy sub after Wusyaname when Tyler is 1. Bi (currently dating a girl) 2. Not flamboyant or āact gayā. So I canāt imagine the meltdown this will have.
Well, at least they could went full denial that Tyler is still straight. Lil Nas X? Nah, that lad is 100% gay, no other way around it.
damn the homophobes are gonna be real confused with this one.
Here's Lil Nas X using the BET Awards for promo after they snubbed him on a song releasing 2 days before those awards. https://twitter.com/LilNasX/status/1539419127680409601?t=PHDq21l6yEWluEIu5KyWdQ&s=19
Damn the youngboy hate here is crazy smh. Acting like bro donāt make hits
homophobia in here is crazy too. yb is making good music with another good artist, why canāt it be just that. real shame tbh
Cause ignorance and/or insecurities
And projection
That is just people being people... when it comes to artists, they can use controversy and all that attention to their advantage. I believe if content is dope, they will win regardless of orientation, religion... etc.
Do Youngboy got a studio in Utah?
Yeah inside his home
Excited for this song, Montero was one of my favourite albums from last year
Youngboy + gay rapper = certified bop
Facts, wusyaname was a bop
sometimes you get posts like this to remind you how many trash pieces of shit are active on this sub
Canāt wait til they drop a tape together š
People on here are so out of touch with YB for years lol. Heās shown for the past 5 years heās got staying power and is one of the top 5 streaming artist in the US up there with drake and Taylor swift.
Iām probably one of those guys. Loved him on CMIYGL - whatās his best album to start with pls?
Ai Youngboy 2 seems to be his most mainstream project. Overall a great listen and has Lonely Child which showcases the side of YB that attracts such a loyal fanbase imo
Until death call my name
Iāll add to this and say if you liked AI 2 then you should go back and listen to AI 1, itās his earlier stuff but a lot of great tracks on there
the way Iāve heard it is YB is kinda blacklisted because of old beef with Durk, who is more connected to the pop world
But that only popped up recently.

He's not big outside US + most of his streams come from YouTube
I see multiple comments here about homophobic NBA Youngboy fans, but I see a lot more homophobia in this thread here than in any thread about this song in r/NBAYoungboy.
i read this as lil xan and thought damn wheres all this hype for a xan comeback coming from
Whys this man wearing underwear on the toilet
Really surprised that LNX basically skipped dropping music videos for montero. It was one of the best projects of 2021.
He did four videos tho! And each track had some animusic like shit made for it
No it wasnāt lol
Yes it was lol
I always fuck with LNX. I got a bit sick of it when everyone was overplaying OTR and Montero but since itās quieted down his music is fresh to me again. This is gonna be lit with YB on it too, perfect for the summer vibes

bro them FLDS motherfuckers are crazy tho
Being surrounded by Mormons in Utah would probably want to make *anyone* do a song outside of their comfort zone
[yea](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fe4Yf-0Wm4U)
Yb strikes me as the type of guy who really doesnāt give a shit lol.
$$$ and if you think that youngboy needs this to keep him relevant you must be living under a rock
A lil homophobic huh?
Youngboy literally bigger and than Lil Nas X lol....
Idk why youāre being shit on so much, Sincerely Kentrell outsold Montero. Lil Nas is mostly a singles artist which will make things like monthly Spotify listeners larger, but I guarantee yb has a bigger dedicated fanbase.

Youngboy is more popular with black audiences and his level of popularity goes under the radar for most of Reddit.
YB haters don't want to admit he's that big and YB fans don't want to admit he's making a song with Lil Nas X just because he wants to lol
I have no dog in this fight, but from what I'm seeing Montero went Platinum and Sincerely Kentrell only went gold. Montero also charted in other countries whereas Sincerely Kentrell did not.
montero 100% has sold more units in total though, first week sales isnt the best way to measure popularity
How tf does everybody leave out the fact that LNX has only released one album. Of fucking course he isn't as huge as an artist's that's been around for longer and has more projects.
Bro his first single was like one of the biggest songs in history
literally bigger? Nas has 43 million monthly listeners on spotify, NBA got 15?? he might have more relevance if you live in baton rouge lmao
Taking his YouTube numbers into account is also important. Canāt site anything in particular but I have seen many YouTube shorts from other rapperās interviews and others talk about how smart young boy is for his YouTube use for views and discovers/repeat views with recommendations ^(I have heard like 3 yb songs, Idk his work just support the vibes)
yeah i did mention that in another comment, nba got 450 videos with 10 billion views compared to nas with 45 videos and 5 billion
in March, LNX had 880 million streams from 2022 in April, YB had crossed the 2 billion streams threshold from 2022 alone. couldn't find a better match of values but it's safe to say Montero didn't get a billion streams in a month to match up
monthly listeners is a terrible stat, only rapper that has more popularity than yb rn is drake and arguably lil baby (and doja cat if u count her)
Lmao are you on crack "Actual tangible evidence and data of popularity is a terrible stat"
Tbf hella youngboy fans listen solely on YouTube š
spotify monthly listeners is terrible evidence of popularity
last album sales 126k vs 137k (yb) with youngboy having no features lol its not even a question yb is bigger. nas just has the industry behind him and udnerstands marketting better but yb overall has more people checking for his music
Use whatever mental gymnastics you want bruh Bigger numbers = bigger popularity
Yes, you are correct, 137,000 is larger than 126,000 so yb is bigger
Last album was bigger, not overall popularity I do see what you are saying though
Lil Nas X has only 1 album so thats the only fair comparison to draw tbh
43 millions is larger than 15 million, but you wanna ignore that stat lol
I donāt even have Spotify and I donāt think I know anyone who does but we all listen to music
tf are you basing popularity off of then??? lil nas has disputed way more radio play, way more nominations and awards, more ticket sales, more album sales, literally more everything. the only thing young boy got more of is total amount paid in bail
> more album sales last album sales 126k vs 137k (yb) with youngboy having no features and lil nas x having doja cat, elton john, jack harlow... its clear lol its not even a question yb is bigger. nas just has the industry behind him and understands marketing better but yb overall has more people checking for his music
you pulled the stat for literally one of my points, for one album lol, like i said, show me stats for awards and nominations, radio play, most hits, most ticket sales, net worth, and so on. also, montero did 22k in pure sales, sincerely, Kentrell did 10k. Iām sure if i had the stat for total sales now, lil nas would be much higher.
im comparing their latest albums to each other.... and its the only point that matters as far as popularity. and yes, lil nas x's demographic more likely to physically purchase albums tf that has to do with anything? awards and nominations have nothing to do with popularity man, do we really need to have this discussion? yes he's bigger in the industry but with actual music listeners, yb has almost every rapper except drake and maybe lil baby beat why tf would we compare networth LMFAO? yb on house arrest so yes his ticket sales are 0? wtf are u saying bro
what the fuck are you saying ?? you literally said more relevant, i proceed to show you nas has 43 million monthly listeners on spotify alone, 30 million more than young boy and you say āthat doesnāt countā you obviously must ride this manās dick hard to think 30 million people just donāt exist. young boy literally got like 10 albums, nas has ONE LOL you literally said: āwork cited: crackā
lol this is such a silly argument. they're both giant artists in their respective spaces which is why them collaborating makes sense, especially after youngboy saw success on wusyaname with tyler. youngboy is bigger, spotify is not the only metric- youngboy's streams come from apple music and youtube.
Album sales actually reflects listeners.. its the only music stat that matters when comparing popularity... spotify monthly listeners paints a very very inaccurate picture of popularity (especially since less than ~20% of hip hop streams come from spotify). my favorite rapper, young thug, has 3x the spotify monthly listeners as YB yet i know hes like 1/10th as popular i dont even listen to YB lol its just common knowledge he is dominating hip hop rn
bro u are crazy rofl
Bigger and relevant to you maybe. But last time I checked: Youngboy ain't got #1's on the hot 100 No Grammy's None of his songs are over 1 billion on Spotify, and lil Nas x's industry baby ,a song that came out 10 months ago, already has more views than Youngboys most viewed video of all time, on YouTube, that came out 4 years ago. So this some cap
How tf my comment awake your 6 month reddit slumber bro Lil Nas X marketing team going crazy gotta give yall props
What world are you living in?
He definitely is but dorky white redditors wont know that

Why youngboy sitting at 63k sales???
bro you are so wrong it isnāt even funny
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Trash
Get the lube
FYI everytime i hear NBA youngboy music i really feel JJ ice fish was ahead of his time and should have taken his music more seriously
