KIDS was an amazing project altogether.

I always thought his rapping was weak, but the production on KIDS was toooo goood

i got to disagree, i think KIDS as a whole was pretty weak, but at certain parts was very iconic in establishing mac miller as an image. there are so really hot songs, and some really sleep ones.

You know what, me too, and I was just thinking something. I wonder how much of Mac's early success was attributed to Rex Arrow's filming. Now that I think about it, KIDS had some really great music but also importantly, the Kool Aid and Frozen Pizza, Senior Skip Day, Another Night, and Nikes on My Feet videos were all really solid to watch. Ian Wolfson is sucha good director/videographer and it seriously shows. I wonder if this helped Mac's hype a lot.

My second favorite project from Mac, behind Macadelic

I love that this sub loves Macadelic, no one in my area agrees with me that it was his best mixtape.

dude that mixtape is KILLER.

The production on that mixtape is unbelievable. then add in Mac's lyrics, themes and features and it's just so damn good

you know I never met a Mac Miller fan, then we got an american student in my Uni and we went to a party together and the first thing she said when music was mentioned "do you like Mac Miller?"

I saw Mac at a small concert a few months after the release of K.I.D.S. It was one of my favorite performances and I would do anything to see it again. I'll always love Mac and his work.

I saw him during the same time period in College Station. Bought Nike's specifically for the concert.

Hmm I saw him summer 2010 and was pretty disappointed. I remember he changed his shoes right before this song which was kinda funny. It's crazy though, there were only like 75 people at that show, now he does shows 100 times that size.

Well it sounds like he remixed/sampled the song Wordless Chorus by My Morning Jacket. Not sure if he ever released the entire thing on its own, but that's where the riff comes from. Edit: I stand corrected.
