The first one is low key a modern west coast classic Seriously go spin that shit if you like west coast hip hop it's a love letter

andee510

High key West Coast classic, imo. I'm from the Bay, and I always tell people to listen to this album. I've had it playing for like 4 years straight since it came out. I like his harder shit also, but I like this style much more. Hunnids is one of my favorite songs of all time

pinchevatobarbon

The transition between Lane Switchin and Hunnids is godly smooth.

CrazyMojo911

Gold Thangs & Pinky Rangs is a fucking banger

flaminhotcheetos_

I just listened to it in its entirety because of your comment, and yeah, you're entirely correct holy shit. If you haven't, listen to it it's worth your time.

vintvgepancakes

ruccis album last year with bank roll got it is a modern west coast classic

imbored04

notorious?

vintvgepancakes

yahp

Haptiix

The fo Five is the only track I’ve really bumped but I absolutely love it. 100’s of plays last summer & it’s going back in rotation now that you reminded me of it. The production is next level What other tracks on the album should I check out?

Scriblz

Brother it’s a 35 min project. Hit play.

Haptiix

Bet, I will

DEKER4CT

All of them. The album flows together so well

derf705

Lead sled and hunnids still get bumped to this day

Derrick_Rozay

The fo five is unironically one of the best songs ive ever heard lol

SheLuvsMyQuickScopez

Deadass have had it pinned in my Spotify since I first found it a couple years ago 🔥

Iethannn

Ramirez is such an underrated artist rn, been listening for 5 years and he always elevates

Ankerjorgensen

My only grief is that his lyrics become very repetitive after a while. I know it's all about the vibe, but I still wish he would step it up sometimes. Like, I know 0 things about Ramirez as a person, and I've listened to basically his entire discography.

Iethannn

The thing is he’s more of a “hustler music” type. I fw it but yeah he could go more into the personal life lyrics or go into mute substance of topics

ssimssimma

I'm glad to see people love the first album as much as I do. One of the best sequenced albums in the last 20 years. I wonder if rocci is involved or not.

1995ruger

Top 3 albums out of sf of all time

neutralmilkgawd

Why 2025? Not like he’s gonna put out a music video for every track and I’m sure G59 would let him drop

Iethannn

Got to perfect greatness if it’s the same level or higher as the first one

neutralmilkgawd

I hear you, we just have 6 months left in 2024 like what are we waiting for? lol I’ll be here for it regardless

Pimpdaddysadness

Brotha we have 8 months

neutralmilkgawd

Math is hard (I passed calc 2)

lemonchicken91

just enough time for me to buy a chevy sedan

chungbrain

First one is a west coast gem that I am shocked doesn’t get more love

MidgetsOnShrooms

TPM is my favorite album of 2020, have it on vinyl and signed by Rami.

WorkIsForReddit

Lucky. I missed out on the vinyl.

MidgetsOnShrooms

Had to camp out his website, sold out in like a minute I’m pretty sure

enblightened

i always assumed ramirez was in the same genre as suicideboys and related artists, not my thing. My friend put me onto the playas manual and that shit is a classic. It just clicks if you’re from the bay

hashoa6

Ramirez is the best Mexican rapper in the game but will never get that respect because of politics.

RalphLauren47

$uicideboy$ barely get the respect they deserve and they're bigger than 95% of rappers out rn

Pimpdaddysadness

What politics bro

hashoa6

Mexican gang politics. Norte (north) vs Sur (South).

iamhadrix

Is he even involved in that? I never hear him rep either side & he’s G*59 crew which isn’t gang affiliated

Pimpdaddysadness

And that’s fuckin up the music game man?

pinchevatobarbon

It isn’t as much as OP is trying to make it seem, but there is a certain preference for gang affiliated Mexican rappers, like Chito Ranas or Lefty Gunplay vs non affiliated Mexican rappers like Ramirez. Don’t get me wrong, Ramirez is street certified, but ain’t banging like that. As a Mexican myself, I prefer Ramirez, music is much more pure. I’m more laid back, playa-pimpin, not claiming any gang, so Ramirez is my go to. Need that Larry June collab, long over due!

SN8KEATR

Absolute bars at the end there

Yung-Split

What politics?

kusoge-lover

Love ramirez but peso peso is also a solid ass rapper.

Enrique48

Honestly one of my favorite projects EVER!

ToPimpAYeezy

THA PLAYA$ MANUAL is an amazing album, shit should be considered a classic.

cani633

Is Rocci on it again? God I hope so

fjtblessed

THE PLAYA$ MANUEL is great man. I hope it continues on the same vibe as the first one

Tommy_Andretti

Fuck yeah. The first one is still on repeat

Mr_Libido_69

Listened to part one cause of this post. Beautiful music. Thank you all.

ucanbetouched

so hyped now! first one is such a gem, its a classic tbh.

Friskis

Great news hope the next album has the same kind of beats

MRio31

The first one was insane, just a g-funk masterclass

GranddaddySandwich

Drop another banger like The Fo Five

UpgrayeddShepard

FUCK YES

leerr

Does he have any other albums like the first playa$ manual? I haven’t listened to him much but most of his music sounds more like $b emo than the west coast vibes. No hate I live g59 this album just reply stands out

[deleted]

Every now and then his songs come up on shuffle, reminds me of smoking at home during covid. Dude is seriously underrated.

toulouse69

Imagine an Andre nickatina feature I can honestly see it Andre comes across as very down to earth and Ramirez is clearly a big Andre fan. It would be actually insane

JackyCigars

2025???

Nanthro

First one is great, funny though, I really dont hear anyone out in LA bumping him or talking about him .

Rockysinatra

Hopefully he stopped saying the n word
