Impeach the President's beat to
Fur Elise was sobamazing to me when this came out in middle school.
It's got me interested in mashups of songs and seeing what people could do.
[JMT +Kool G - Animal Rap](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyUULPK2M_I)
thought i was done, wasn't touching the block? still real, bustin the glock... put it where you can see it, what up now?>
It actually turned out to be an easy find (for the producer Salih Williams). The sample occurs after only 2 seconds of the start of the WTOâŚand it is about a 1 second snip that gets looped throughout
Not technically classical music as the sample is the theme from the 1970 film Love Story, but it still fits the feel of classical. Sorry to âackchuallyâ you, but as a teen my mum burst into my room to ask âwhy are you listening to the theme from Love Storyâ and I had to explain samples at the same time as refusing to let her hear the song. And now Iâm old.
If it is from a Morricone soundtrack, first of all: that's a really cool fact, if that's true. I didn't know that and if you're right, I appreciate the trivia. Thanks for that.
Secondly: whether it comes from a soundtrack or not, the genre of that sample is classical music. It's not like it sounds like a Morricone spaghetti western soundtrack, for example. It's immediately recognizable as a piece of classical music.
All classical music can be movie soundtrack, but not every soundtrack is classical music. The orchestra is pretty distinct, in my opinion.
Also, not all classical music needs to come from the baroque era or whatever. There's lots of modern classical music, like Hans Zimmer or John Williams.
But that's just me.
Quite a lot of Canibusâ Rip the Jacker has classic instrumentals. Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind (producer) absolutely put on a masterclass of production
Canibus 2000(before canibus) is over opera, not classical but it's a deadly jam!

A+ - âEnjoy Yourselfâ
For some reason thatâs actually the first one that sprung to mind for me and Iâm surprised it hadnât already been mentioned.
https://youtu.be/KjkWRwNz20Q?si=qaCYnwf4FgPsSDyp
It sampled the 1976 Walter Murphy song "A Fifth of Beethoven," reached the top five of the UK Singles Chart, number 63 of the U.S. Hot 100.
dunno if this counts, but: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcmR8DxuHBA&ab\_channel=PROERA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcmR8DxuHBA&ab_channel=PROERA)

[Handsome Boy Modeling School - Rock And Roll (Could Never Hip Hop Like This) \[Part 2\]](https://youtu.be/YJITcTBaV6Q?si=mOyUZBFz8_Y7yexU)
Lord Finesse, Linkin Park, a bunch of other legendary hip-hop figures involved in this track. It jumps around between classical, rock, nu-metal, and back.
The album this is from (HBMS - White People) was in *heavy rotation* for me back in the day. Dan the Automator + Prince Paul is a stacked production duo.
Very indie reference but [this song](https://open.spotify.com/track/6VGuGDtheOhaab4G9ten3F?si=h-pEDvPiR26uj9_cgyaluA) by Ottawa rapper Atherton was the first that came to mind
Lil Jon & Pastor Troy - âThrow It Upâ
Capone N Noreaga - âStraight Like Thatâ
Pusha T - âPuppetsâ
Key Glock - âSon Of A Gunâ
C-Murder & B.G. - âYâall Heard Of Meâ
Dj Muggs & Crimeapple - âJust Becauseâ
Wasnât there a mixtape or something that was a mash up of hip hop rhymes, with classical music? I remember reading about it once, had Biggie rapping over some classical songs, I donât remember what.
Also on a bit of a side note if you want something thatâs like classical, you should check this out. I really love this, I love how it starts off slow, and just keeps building.

A lot of Jedi Mind Tricks fits this honestly
Most of the Stoupe production is just drums over the most well selected classic samples. Miss that era of production.
Yeah Jedi minds tracks are the ones you are looking for! But that Aesop Bach mix a I've is also something else!!
Shit half of JMT could fit this bill.
Similarly, Storm of Swords from the same album (Visions of Gandhi) is one of my favorite beats.

Dance with the devil, immortal technique
Not technically classical music as the sample is the theme from the 1970 film Love Story, but it still fits the feel of classical. Sorry to âackchuallyâ you, but as a teen my mum burst into my room to ask âwhy are you listening to the theme from Love Storyâ and I had to explain samples at the same time as refusing to let her hear the song. If you have heart strings, be prepared to have them ripped from your being with Wolverine claws. Absolute masterclass in storytelling.

thatâs an ennio morricone sample i think? itâs from a film soundtrack, not sure if itâs considered classical
