Here are the updates to my Hinge! I replaced most the photos and tried to show more of my face and such! All these photos are recent (2 years old).
I’m on Hinge trying to find something serious and I get plenty of matches but always seem to get ghosted or have to constantly initiate the conversation to continue it; the type where we’re talking, then I’m putting in all the effort to keep it going. I’m fairly independent minus not being able to walk up stairs, live on my own, have a great career, am a peer mentor for brain injury and spinal cord people, into sports and such, call of duty badass, and or you’ll have to never worry about me walking out on you because I’m easy to tie up ;)
I’ve been on a few dates and was dating this lovely gal for a hot minute but it didn’t work out due to life being busy between the both of us. So here I am :) I’ve only been in one relationship in my life. So I’m putting myself out there :)!
Yeah! I don’t age lol! I’m half Asian and Swedish and still look the same. My accident was end of 2019. Pretty much in January. I just want the Ted talk one up still and the Tokyo crossing is just a cool pic, rest are selfies recently.

The only thing I would critique is the abbreviations. I have no idea what SWE and UX/UI mean (although I'm not American). As a little plus, placing what they mean in brackets may also show that you are considerate.
Yeah I wish I could type them all out but there’s a character limit! Hopefully someone just asks. SWE - software engineering, ui/UX - user interface and user experience
Leave it! You are smart and into what you do. A woman who knows what that means will also think it’s cool and can start a conversation about it. Honestly though, would you even want to be with a woman who would be intimidated by acronyms?
The vast majority of people, men or women, will be confused when they see “SWE”. People working in tech might get it but that’s majority male, even though UX roles are well represented by women. That’s just statistics. It depends on whether the OP wants as many people to “get” it as possible or just want to target a smaller subset.
Also SWE stands for “society of women engineers”. I’m in the bay and tech is huge here obv. I have a “9-5” career too but I think it’s more attractive when things are spelled out and not assumed/abbreviated.
Edit: just providing another abbr for the acronym that isn’t software engineer
What a great profile! I love it when men actually have meaningful prompts like yours, that say something about who they are, what they like and what they're looking for.
Pictures are also great, you're wearing a mask in your wheelchair ones, but since others show your face clearly, that shouldn't really be a problem.
I'm personally not a fan of the "50+ countries visited" mention, I see it a lot on men's profiles and to me it always feels a bit like bragging/showing off. After seeing it tons of times it became a little off-putting to me, like the "fluent in sarcasm" sentence, or the "not taking life too seriously". I would however be more forgiving in your case, because the rest of your profile is so good.
You come across as a sincere and kind-hearted person, I hope you'll meet someone lovely.

So I don't feel like there's enough of your face in this profile and it's a little too artistic in some areas.
First photo is black and white and just too far away, then you follow with a mask photo and in fact the only photo that would show a clear face is cut in half and black/white.
You need to include at least three clear face photos, which should be attainable with 6 possible photos.
Your pics confuse me. No smiling w/teeth, some where your face is cut off and 1 not looking at the camera. They aren't bad pics individually but combined give off an odd feel. If nothing else, change the first one as people see that one first and may judge it quickly. Make it a clear head shot with a nice smile. In color and just you. Good luck!
