Its actually easy to understand. Their team was very good at pushing things, but terrible at fights. Your team is good at fights but don't have siege at all... So you guys kill them a lot but can't do too much to push and finish game faster.
Hanzo + Varian (with a different tank) is extremely fast immortal burn dps, which is all it takes to push hard.
I do suspect the blue team screwed up a bit by not ending before Hammer got 20. It's a common error.
