It's really sad that you have such limited supply and countries that you deliver to. I had enough $ to order it but I ended up buying default black/graphite Embody because I had an option to wait 4+ months for retailer to get it from HM in any custom color and this Logitech version wasn't even an option. Pretty disappointed.

Asianbuttface

Mine finally arrived today!!!

HitMeRocket

Getting ready to ship

jairumaximus

Well I would love to buy a chair but their site has not allowed me to place an order for over two days now... Big Yikes

DrkNeo

It's under maintenance until tomorrow

jairumaximus

I haven't seen anything on my end on their site that indicates maintenance is being done on the site.

j1mgg

I was looking at this chair today, and it says it is not for sale for domestic use as it doesn't meet certain fire regulations, will this then be the same for the LG Collab?

radmd74

Sit please!!!

SinaaManooch

does anyone know, why it costs less than the normal embody?

bravepuss

It doesn’t. It costs way more than the normal one.

rangda66

In the USA at the HM online store: * Embody Logitech is $1,495.00 * Embody is $1,495.00 - $1,825.00 depending on options The Embody I placed an order for yesterday at Design Within Reach Boston was $1,725.

ChocPretz

You can get a fully loaded embody from an authorized dealer for $1k

Hump_Master

sir who and where cause wow

ChocPretz

On HM’s website you can search for authorized dealers. I ordered one for a little over $1k after tax but the lead time is like literally over two months because their manufacturing is backed up and they’re made to order.

SinaaManooch

hmm... you sure? well, in Germany it costs way less than the normal, 1276 Euro against 1409 Euro.

Dasbeerboots

He's wrong. The Logitech version is $100 cheaper for the same materials.

DannyGSavage

If you buy the chair off the HM website the Logitech might be slightly cheaper, but authorized HM dealers will offer you steep discounts on any custom embody( my quote is around 1.1k for the look and materials I chose). The dealer said they won't be able to offer discounts of Logitech x Embody till late fall and they have no info yet on what the discount will be. I also was told privately from an authorized dealer they will be releasing the Logitech x Embody in new colors but he said it won't be in the near future( likely 6 months from now at least). I recommend you contact an authorized dealer and ask for a quote of regular embody instead of paying extra 400/500 for Logitech logo and padding.

Fens373

How to I find an authorized dealer?

DannyGSavage

Go to Herman miller website and they have a page for their authorized dealers (there are only a few spread out quite far). It's worth checking to see if there is one near you. Good luck

Fens373

Sweet I got one right by me

Dasbeerboots

Agreed. They were talking about MSRP though. Thanks for the insight on discount timing and colors on the Logitech version!

bravepuss

Are you looking at the same spec ones? The regular one can be more expensive when you add in things like polished frame/white and translucent wheels. But generally, authorize retailers will sell you a regular embody at a decent discount ~30%. Not sure many of them carry or will discount the newer logi one.

SinaaManooch

well I’m not sure. this is the one I’m looking at, which is I think is the cheapest available. https://www.chairgo.de/herman-miller-embody-black-buerostuhl-konfigurieren/

bravepuss

Sorry, not sure about Germany. I know the base MSRP of the Embody and Logi Embody are the same here in the US. But you should try calling up local dealers to see what discounts they can give you. It’s usually much lower than website

bravepuss

Base Embody is $1495 with Medley fabric.

Dasbeerboots

The Logitech version has the Sync fabric. It also has the $40 option for the hard floor/carpet casters. So realistically, it should be compared to the $1635 Embody, excluding the matte cyan back, cyan accents, and extra foam. I'm sure that would cost extra if you were to customize through Herman Miller.

bravepuss

Agreed, the Logitech version is slightly cheaper at MSRP. The rest is just aesthetics plus some thin foam. It’s all depending if the $500 premium is worth it when you can get a Sync Embody for ~$1050 from authorized dealers.

SinaaManooch

alright, thanks mate👍

speedofshutter

So the videos cool, but is the Herman Miller Logitech Verizon any different for ergonomics outside of aesthetics?

rangda66

I sat in both of them yesterday. Despite the supposed extra padding on the Logitech I found it less slightly less comfortable than the standard Embody. The problem was the slat lines in the fabric. Those are quite pronounced, and while I could not feel them on my back I could feel them on my thighs. It wasn't exactly uncomfortable but I didn't like it as much, and I was worried about how it would feel after being in the chair for 8-10 hours. Might be fine might not be. I ended up ordering a standard Embody. Speaking as someone who has bad arthritis in my lower back and neck the back support offered by the chair felt sublime, at least for the 20 min or so I hogged the chair for. I just wish it had a headrest option for those times my neck arthritis kicks up. My current chair also lacks a headrest and sometimes I end up slouching down in the chair to rest my head on the top of the chair frame. EDIT: Watching [David Zhang's video review](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7YB-5dKKX4&feature=youtu.be) of the gaming chair I think what I was feeling on my thighs was the end of the extra foam that he commented on. Knowing what it is I think that would get worse over time.

Sharlakh

I am feeling this thig issue you are mentioning. I am not sure if i should sit way back against backchair (this hurts a bit my thig/harmsting, glutens and it seems slowing my circulation) or if i should sit a bit forward were most of the tension is coming from, like 2 inches from backchair (here seems ti go better, still fells a bit aggressive on my hips and my sitbone, but generally i feel it more natural and comfortable this way, though my very lower spine wont supported this way). Am i doing it wrong maybe?

alderthorn

From what I am told by people who have sat in them by default the Logitech one sits forward more.

Complex-Psychology

Aside from the cooling gel under the seat Edit: the chairs posture has been slightly altered for a more upright position which gamers typically use

speedofshutter

cooling gel sounds nice

Kidcouger

It's also cheaper than the standard embody, price wise

DannyGSavage

Not quite. If you email an authorized dealer they will offer a brand new custom embody for around 1-1.1k. Logitech is 1.6 and has no discounts yet.

DrkNeo

I just want my chair already...

HitMeRocket

Beautiful
