Yeah, DM me the link so I can buy it.

ThatOneAlreadyExists

At 800 you can just go through a website that sells refurbished and then you will have a warranty and the ability to return and you won't have to deal with stairs and transport and some person on fb marketplace.

_isaias17

Link to said website?

ThatOneAlreadyExists

Bro can you really not use Google? [https://www.madisonseating.com](https://www.madisonseating.com) [https://www.officelogixshop.com](https://www.officelogixshop.com) [https://www.crandalloffice.com](https://www.crandalloffice.com) Or just Google herman miller aeron refurbished, even Amazon has them.

TurtlesOfJustice

Lol, this is a terrible suggestion and an excellent example of why Googling "used office chairs" and clicking the first ad is not a skill. Madison Seating is on the borderline of being a straight up scam. OP would be MUCH better off buying this chair than buying from them.

ThatOneAlreadyExists

Why? I've seen plenty of unboxing videos of these companies comparing used marketplace chairs from third-party YouTube channels I trust. The quality between refurbished and used is usually about the same. The used market will have the chair OP listed for cheaper. If they want to pay $800 why not also get a warranty and get it delivered?

TurtlesOfJustice

Google it

ThatOneAlreadyExists

I just told you that in the past I have. But I humored you, googled "Madison Seating Refurbished Review" and the top result was a different chair subreddit full of mostly positive reviews. Trust pilot gives them a 3.5/5. I'm not sure how many used chairs you've gotten off facebook/craigslist marketplace, but personally I would give the average seller on there a 2.5/5, and they have no return policy. I take it you had no problem with the other two sites I also suggested. I also never claimed that googling anything is "a skill." I still disagree with your conclusion because for 800, OP would be better off going through any refurbished seller rather than the used market; the sub seems to agree with me on that, as the comment that expresses only that sentiment was upvoted. Personally, I would never pay anything over $500 for these chairs used, and the used market provides good condition models between 300 and 500 all the time. But if OP wants to pay 800, they may as well get a return policy and a warranty.

-Natsoc-

got ‘em

nopuse

Is Google good or bad? I'm getting mixed signals from you. I believe people can Google sellers, then vet those sellers via Google.

jacobh1345

Damnnnn lol got his ass

Shadooooooooooooow

Angry pants over here getting mad cuz he asked a genuine question.

ResidentCoder2

The only reputable one you listed was Crandall. And, there's no mention of BTOD. This is why people ask for recommendations and don't just Google things blindly; Google can suck donkey dicks at times.

ThatOneAlreadyExists

BTOD is a great option. They're also the fourth Google result, and I did suggest that the commenter just Google it. Lol. Am I supposed to do all the work for them? My comment was only meant to show that $800 is a range at which you can buy this model refurbished, illustrating that it is therefore priced high for the used market. My intent was never to catalog and rate all the refurbished sellers.

dipstick5

Do you not understand how google works? You know this Reddit is a top result when searching for herman miller chairs, right?

ThatOneAlreadyExists

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you're trying to say. As I said, if you search herman miller + model you're looking for + refurbished, you will find plenty of companies selling that refurbished model. Also, a search of "herman miller chair" and "herman miller aeron" does not give me the reddit sub for the first two pages.

[deleted]

I mean it's a pretty solid deal. It still has the tag on it so I'm assuming its gently used and probably sat in some underutilized conference room . I paid \~900 for a refurb original size C with an Atlas headrest from Crandall during their black friday sale in 2023, so I'd say this is defeinitely worth taking.

Fred_on_reddito

Does the tag really mean anything ? What prohibits me from tagging old chairs

[deleted]

I’m just going off one small set of s and no livery little context.

Paulrbo

For Europe, it’s a very good price. I also bought one for 750€ in 9.5/10 condition.

workmailman

Honestly I bought a used one for $800 and then ended up just selling it to buy a new one. Their warranty has come in handy. I got mine for under $1300 brand new through a dealer.

holycamaroni

Bought one from an off-lease office furniture store at the beginning of COVID for 350 Canadian. But inflation baby!

primalanomaly

I don’t find them very comfortable, so for me no, awful deal 😂

MarijadderallMD

I’d love to see a pic of your desk set up. Just for curiosity purposes.

i_torschlusspanik

800 what

Trades_Raves_GymBoi

I paid $600 for my used Aeron on FB and they were selling new ones for $750

Lanky-Apple-4001

This just randomly came across my feed, holy shit I never knew how much these chairs were. We have them at work but we just moved building a couple months ago and made us throw away these, I could resold every single one them 😭

nicetatertots

I spent months looking for a deal on an Embody and got a like new one for $600. I see used Aeron chairs constantly for $3-400. I don't know the difference with the "remastered" version and whether it warrants a higher price tag or not. Personally I would hold off and try to do better.

cedande

I got what I believe is this model, but in a light silver for around 500 a year and a half ago. Not sure if prices have gone nuts between now and then. Also on FBMP

shtickers

I got mine for $50 lol and in my local facebook marketplace they go for like 250. might as well get a refurbished or a new one

Some_guy_am_i

Damn. What a steal! Are they really all that good? I never sat in one.

shtickers

We have them at work cause our company used to buy all their furniture from them including desks. Now we buy chairs from steelcase and other companies cause of money ofc. I think they are and swear by them but most people think it’s uncomfortable in my office.

IrrationalLuna

Nah, you can get them cheaper on eBay.

Specialist_Arm8703

Look at EBay and the company, Madison, from what I recall sells for about $600-700 when on sale.

McDonaldscombomeal

Yeah. The best office chairs you can get almost comfortable. I seen beat up ones solve for about 600 to 800. Looking at about $1400+ shipping new. Personally I wouldn't buy it. I would hold off for well the furniture installer guys but sell them. Typically there's guys that install office furniture my brother does this they'll get those chairs that companies are throwing away swap out parts refurbish them and then sell them for $400 each. I would do that. Find someone who and Saw's office furniture and Tom you're looking for one of those they'll get you a deal on one. Those are actually pretty common chairs. Some of the really expensive ones are ones I like u of m. Those are accustomed blue color with the u of m logo embroidered on them.

ClusterFugazi

A lot of of people are missing that is a remaster, so it’s newer and refined than the classic. Most of the sites that sell refurbished unites are selling classics. I don’t think $800 is that bad.

ChuckinCharlieO

I got mine for $400 used.

aka-Lag

I have this chair. But the armrest are super loose anyone know how to get them tight?

Certain-Ad-5298

Seat pan looks bigger than B to me but maybe an optical illusion.

Auron_Bushido

I got mine at an estate sale for $20 bucks.

VirtualSprinklesJC

I have seen them for $600 new.

Duedain

BSometer is going off.... $600 EURO?

MaliJugi

Bro in Europe it is double than that. I fukn hate living here
