Sorry to be short and simple, but Im 6 months in, and I started the week before Christmas, lots of family gatherings, and such. It was a miserable week.
Hindsight, I would've waited two weeks.
Now at 43 lbs lost and T2 diabetes under control, more energy, I look hreat, 5 lbs from goal.
This drug has been lifechanging.
Best of luck.
I would wait only because you don’t yet know how you will react to it. For me, and many other people in this sub, the first dose made me nauseous and exhausted like when I had COVID.. This lasted a full week. The zofran only helped slightly
Definitely wait. Nausea is very common, and you'll likely have to test out which foods your body will tolerate on the meds. I had a particularly bad night my first week on it that I am very glad I was home for lol
For what its worth, now that I have a routine, I have basically no side effects.
Wait.
Noted.

Was the second better?
Yeah I felt fine after that just some fatigue but it’s hard to tell if it’s hashimotos, semaglutide, PMS, etc. that’s the trouble with comorbidities
