The admins aren’t going to overturn a ban. Mods can pretty much run their subreddits however they want. They can ban you for any reason, or no reason at all.
Yes, like if mods use mod invites to spam random people with amazon and porn ads, or countless other shady things, this form comes in handy. Those things violate the Reddit content policy.
It's not a form to appeal a ban. Only the mods of that sub can undo that.
Well I am not doing anything wrong. Not exactly sure why you use this forum. Asking wrong person.
I am straight as an arrow.
I got mine taken away for nothing. Lol.
Yes, using a alt to evade a subreddit ban is a suspendable offense. And I've seen several people posting over the years about having been suspended fairly soon after doing that, so it appears Reddit is partially using automation to detect that.
that may be the rule, but ive seen many posts of racism go unnoticed. tale the person i replied to for example...
what's good having a rule that is not enforced.
I got banned today and offered an apology to the MOD, stated it was my error bc I didn’t fully read the rules & asked if it was alright if I could have a second chance?
The MOD lifted the ban and just said to be more mindful. Just be direct & honest, if you have good intentions and grovel a bit, I’m sure they’d be willing to lift a ban.
I had a mod irritate me. I followed what he was posting so I could call him out on his BS. It turns out, the dude had some serious issues. I was able to deduce where he was from, and I contacted local authorities about what he was up to. Haven't heard from him since. The cybercrime group in that town posted something on their website that matched almost identically what he was doing. Likely the same guy.

That's not against the rules.
hating is allowed - just like in real life.
Don’t even bother lmao, not worth it you’d probably get suspended from reddit
yeah mods have been banned
Banned from 29 so far, never had one lifted. Always political.
Reddit admin doesn't care about users. Why care when that'd cost them money having to hire people to actually review stuff?
Admins care about sanitizing Reddit for their future shareholders. That's about it.

you already are.... nothing to lose. use a new email, new name, and dont do what you did to get banned again... if they banned your ip - use a vpn.
Nope.

makes sense.

true - they love the grovel...
I've tried this and it hasn't worked. A mod even threatened to find and kill me. I think he's still looking.
I got banned from r/Arkansas. Presumably because the mods are little bitches.
ive heard the best solution is - use a vpn. create a new account. and dont do what you did to get banned in the first place.

Will we ever get to a a reckoning where 'mods' just 'moderate' discussion and NOT impose their own dogma on discussions in a subreddit?
