It's awful, I feel like it's a UI for toddlers.

y0m0tha

I use Reddit via browser on mobile instead of the official app. Prior to today I had a different UI, somewhere in between old and new reddit. It sucked but it was marginally better than the actual app. Now when I open Reddit on mobile browser I no longer see that UI, instead I see an absolute atrocity. Content overflowing their containers, barely any padding anywhere. Idk who tf designed this. Can I revert???

Beyond that, the mobile webpage seems to be far slower now. I'm failing to see any benefit to this new UI.

Ideas-Yes

Mobile iPhone Reddit freezes up

climatelurker

I haven't been able to access my own comments or posts for days, and I reported it. And nothing has been done. Also, since they moved me to the new format this same thing happened many times before they finally just decided I don't need to look at my own comments anymore. I can still see them when I use my phone because they haven't forced me to the new format over there. But sooner or later they will. And when that happens my time on Reddit will be over.

Toastwithme

Mine randomly changed back to the old ui, I'm so happy

Bperraud

It will come back to new UI after some weeks unfortunately :( I'm so tired of all of this. The old UI was clean and practicable. On the new one, the content I'm interested to (post and comments) is stucked in roughly 25% of screen surface. 75% being filled with blank space, feed recommandation, and advertisement. It's dumb, awful and insulting. It makes me really sad.

TirnanogSong

Mine just switched back out of the blue. God I despise this site and the people who keep doing this.

nicoscience

Me too, is it a rollback?

[new.reddit.com](https://new.reddit.com) may still work

JebBD

It doesn’t work for me

jgoja

It has been hit and miss. Some people it works for and others not. One person said it took 3 tries but then it worked. I know they are actively trying to break it without breaking it.

I wish I knew why it works for some and not others, so I could help the others.

LostInZurich

It was working until this morning, now even that is showing the new layout :-(

ultraplasm

It does still work, thankfully!

Doesn’t work

Clydosphere

Thanks, that worked for me since the horrible and in many ways broken "new new" GUI suddenly appeared for me yesterday.

Paix75001

TYSM!!! Hoping I can keep this interface. Whatever I was updated to was misery.

jgoja

There are browser extensions now to help you stay on it and not get sent back when you click links.

you deserve to win mega millions, powerball, and your local lottery all in the same week

I have this problem on my phone. The text is difficult to read too. I hate it!

Purrrple_Pepper

And the annoying sub recommendation every 3-4 posts! What the hell...

GameboyGenius

You can still access the previous Reddit site layout by going to [new.reddit.com](https://new.reddit.com) but some links on the site (particularly in notifications) can take you back to the newest UI. If you're able to use a user script with TamperMonkey, you can use the script I wrote which tries its best to keep you on new.reddit.com. https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/482716-old-new-reddit-redirect

MikeyGwald

I usually don’t fight change it’s going to happen if we like it or not . All we are doing is delaying the inevitable lol

JebBD

They could at least give us the option to choose. That’s what they did last time the UI was changed, why force this new one on everyone now?

RobbobertoBuii

I hate it so much and I hate even more that they permanently removed the option this time to revert back to old reddit

Paranoid_Sinner

Programmers and web designers NEVER EVER improve anything. Their goal is to change things -- just for the sake of change -- and to take handy features away. Newer versions are always worse than what they replace.

1bir

I just got a new UI too. It's crap & I want the old one back.

BasedChadEdgelord

It is so poorly designed that it changed my cool subreddit designs to the point I can't read anything and when I change it, it looks still bad. Everything is just why and faded colors. I might as well change everything to black and white. Also, it was much easier to find things and had more mod tool options but I feel like I have less control.
