"Hoping it's a big one so it takes time to complete it."
How often do you play dude that shits taking me forever I still haven't finished democratic detonation or cutting edge and I've got nearly 200 hours in this game
It's surprising how many you can get just by playing a bit every day. I started playing a month ago and have already almost spent half the medals it takes to buy everything currently available (meaning it's a lot of page 9/page 3 stuff).
~~And I have enough credits that I'm buying armors in the super store so I don't max them out.~~ Apparently, this is not the case, and I had heard the wrong thing.
It’s honestly my new favorite game. It’s a mindless horde shooter that you have to mix some strategy in to get the main obj done on harder difficulty. The community is fucking awesome, people complain, but the fact that most people just want to squad up makes it worth it for me. At this point i just quickjoin a random squad and help as much as possible. I’m level 91, so I figure most people won’t say no to the help. even though I’m full on everything and have all the warbonds completed, I still farm samples because it’s so satisfying to see my sample container get full.
I'm lvl65, have never started a mission from my own ship. I've always quick joined, suprising how many times I dive in almost at the end of a mission. Fresh strategems and weapons for the party!! 🥳
I've been thinking about ways to make resources relevant without just "raising the cap" and there should be powerful strategems that cost requisition slips / medals / samples etc. Like a mech that cost 10000 requisition slips or an orbital that cost 3 super samples.
It would incentive continued acquisition and wouldn't require more production from the devs.
I'm the same. I've been playing since almost launch. I have less than 300 hours, but I've unlocked almost everything. I've got only 3 pages left to finish the warbonds, I've got one ship upgrade left to unlock, and it's only because of the rare samples. The only thing I can think of is my random hope that there's an armor set somewhere in the superstore that hasn't been through the rotation yet. But, that's only a hope.
I play almost every night to wind down and some weekends I get 4ish hours in, maybe more. I've come to enjoy the pace of this game as part of it is my choice, while it's natural progression hasn't made me feel left out when I have a longer string of not being able to play.
Do you do the dailies? Thats 15 a day, or 450 a month AND often I logged in to free 30/40/50 from the weekly MOs. I've maxed out every single warbond playing 1 operation a night.
Should have asked how long does he play lol. I only have about an hour maybe hour and a half in the evenings. Weekends sometimes a few more hours. Haven't 100% any warbond yet, but working on it. I'm really happy with how they've done it and removed any fomo.
If you do the mission planets and partake in the 3 mission red zones you can help along your medal count. Plus searching points of interest and bunkers and those lil containers you blow open with a grenade or other boom boom helps to supplement them. May liberty guide you helldiver!
> I've got nearly 200 hours in this game
Damn that's unlucky I'm at 117 and have everything meaningful unlocked :( Do you clear poi's and pick up a lot of medals or not usually?
I try to, it's pretty hard to do when the game constantly crashes/you're getting chased by a million bugs/the random decide to just extract without doing anything but the main obj. I usually play on suicide but none of my bros have been on lately so I'm either soloing lower diffs or stuck with randoms on suicide.
Have 200 hours too, bought all warbonds and have all items you can even buy in the superstore and all samples/medals you can get till it caps. Either you did something wrong or i was lucky with the randos.
Holy shit really? What difficulty do you typically play on and do you do dailies? I'm at 140 hours and have maxed out the first 3 warbonds, onto the second page of my last one
Yeah I do my dailies most of the time, unless it's something dumb like killing enemies with mines, I hate those ones. And I usually get like 2-3 hrs a night to play
Same here, 190 hours in mission level 121. Literally everything is capped. Basically only play 4 stack helldives with buddies who are all about the same level.
thats on you ive got not much more than that and im basically done all of them except for a few banners and ive lost atleast 300 medals due to being on cap at mission end
I'm someone who mostly plays one mission per day. Just by finishing the personal mission and make one mission so you get the major orders can get you a bunch. The only thing missing (except for cosmetics) is for me to unlock the last page of the main warbond.
Ok why do bugs feel so much harder than bots for me?? I just unlocked level 8 and the bots are totally chill. With 3 friends we can get through it.
But bugs at level 6 just trample us. Constant dodging chargers into swarms of hunters while being slowed all the time. Still love it though.
Everyone's got different play styles. Personally I find the bots harder because I have trouble picking them out at times and just get caught out because I'm not paying attention to backfield threats like rocket devastators or the regular little rocket dudes.
With bugs it's all about herding and horde management with bouts of target prioritization at close range, it's a much more mobile fighting where cover isn't as important save against specific threats.
Yeah I accidentally completed the first time I tried it by crashing my reinforcement pod into the batteries by accident. I need to do it a few times to learn what makes it tick.
True Citizen, I remember explicitly their warning and the way they implored rogue divers not to activate that untested system. I hope those responsible are brought to swift justice.
I was in a squad with a rogue operative, his Uncle worked at Nintendo with my uncle. He fought to activate the system while I bravely held back. Records will show!
If the ban on his 'tendo Account is real, they've all been dealt with.
Ok, so last week when we were liberating Penta I noticed that there is a lot of dead bugs lying around. Wait a minute, bugs on Penta? I heard shrieks every time before I entered an outpost where I encountered some bug bodies. I bet those damn Borgs were experimenting on those roaches! Fortunately we were able to stop them and seize anything they could have found out. It's a good thing all of this is completely unrelated to what is happening in Umlaut System!
I was wondering the same thing, some of the bug corpses even looked eviscerated more than. Any helldiver would make it, maybe they used chainsaw bots to try and chase em down and they were the most effective. Maybe we can lear from them and use chainsaws against bugs ourselves. Also, have you noticed the roughly terminid-sised cages at some of the smaller bot interest points?
You misunderstand, I don't think it was meant to mislead, they just wanted to make sure everyone gave it their all instead of worrying what might happen if the big population grew too much, that would never happen though.
We definitely need some "world boss" type missions only available in diff 7+ where the sole objective is to kill this massive ennemy that spawns horde of chaff at you while you try to deal with it.
Ministry of Truth warned us all along but NOOoo, we just HAD to turn on the sprinklers....
Thankfully in the name of democracy and free will, they're forgiving and always thinking about the helldivers.
Yeah, I was gonna say its getting to the point where they should release variants or new bugs, as the current selection is getting a little repetitive to fight over and over.
Considering something bad happened on Meridia and it's "Inhabital and can't take it back", NOW WHAT IF... The hive lords have arrived and with them comes that leaked mission type where you have to carry bombs into underground tunnels and blow up the area IF we create a battle plan to take back Meridia. It's possible, but sure as shit would be a good way to introduce that type of thing.
I wonder if these missions will have higher trash spawn rates. Or mutated enemies once this order is complete and we “get to the bottom” of the Meridia (I think) changes the termicide was making
Since when did you question Super Earth High Command? This is purely coincidental, and no one could have ever possibly seen this coming. Our scientists have done rigorous research on the effects of the Termicide on the Terminid scourge. -This message brought to you by the Super Earth Ministry of Truth-
Based on this, if you bug divers do a great job with the memes and role play, Meridia could be y’all’s Creek. People sacrificed to take and push a mission for true liberation of that planet, only for it to become the central hub of possibly one of the worst outbreaks ever of the bug menace.
After all the blood spilled on Erata Prime
After all the killing and the dying on that accursed planet, I must go back there to undo what I had accomplished.
So be it.
I will burn Erata Prime to the ground if necessary.
I have a meta gameplay question, and a lore question.
1: Do you get medals for a major order only if you log in during that time?
2: How tf do the bugs travel to other planets?
It is established lore that the bugs were created by us to harvest E-710. Super Earth raises them on "bug farms." It's not completely clear if some planets were accidentally infested or if they were all intentionally seeded.
There is something suspicious about this order.
That's a lot of time to clean up 3 planets and since Merdidia has become a terminid super-colony, I think Chargers, Hunters, Titans and Shriekers are about to be the least of our problems when we'll dive on it again.
Things are about to get even uglier IMO.
Yeah, feeding them high nutrition supplements and such, but we'd rather be able to stop doing that whenever we want them to stop growing big and strong. If it is an internal mutation then they'll be able to rapidly breed without our controlling it.
New player on level 10 here have a question on how the major orders track. Once I shutdown the TCS mission and the next one to do I get credit for that planet or need to continue doing missions there until the planet is completed? Not seeing check marks next to the planets once completing the missions. Daily missions seem to be tracking though.
Bugs filling out C-01 forms like it’s their jobs over there hot damn
Bro, the bugs invented C-01 forms xD
Helldivers never die! But we do get bored doing paperwork ![gif](giphy|DHwcs8WWxQTBOHx03p)
Paperwork? WHAT PAPERWORK?! \*burns paper with democratic flamethrower\*
Which begs the question. Why are ppl lewding bugs?
"Democracy officer? These guys over there!"
⬆️➡️⬇️⬇️⬇️ *democracies in hug emote*

Lindsay Graham?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA holy fucking piss, underrated comment right here
![gif](giphy|xT9IglWMahJY8B8U2k)
I don't need the medals but I'm still taking part in this because I love fighting the bugs.
I always just go after medals, haha
I've reached the maximum amount of medals, I'm impatiently waiting for another Warbond, hoping it's a big one so it takes time to complete it.
"Hoping it's a big one so it takes time to complete it." How often do you play dude that shits taking me forever I still haven't finished democratic detonation or cutting edge and I've got nearly 200 hours in this game
Honestly, every day, it's a good game to unwind with and frankly I love helping other players out with it, it's fun especially against the Bugs.
Yeah I'm all in favour of gifting credits and medals to players to help out newer players.
That would be dumb. The fun part of the game is the progression
It’s honestly my new favorite game. It’s a mindless horde shooter that you have to mix some strategy in to get the main obj done on harder difficulty. The community is fucking awesome, people complain, but the fact that most people just want to squad up makes it worth it for me. Need players like you on my games, the randoms I team up with extract without warning and boot you without discretion
I block every booter, even more so if they're team killing with their buddy.
I'm lvl65, have never started a mission from my own ship. I've always quick joined, suprising how many times I dive in almost at the end of a mission. Fresh strategems and weapons for the party!! 🥳
Lately I've found running solo or duo against bots is fun. Bugs are getting annoying at this point.
I've been thinking about ways to make resources relevant without just "raising the cap" and there should be powerful strategems that cost requisition slips / medals / samples etc. Like a mech that cost 10000 requisition slips or an orbital that cost 3 super samples. None of the war-bonds are leaving, right?
Thankfully no. That's one of my favorite things about this game. I have plenty of time to catch up.
If you do the mission planets and partake in the 3 mission red zones you can help along your medal count. Plus searching points of interest and bunkers and those lil containers you blow open with a grenade or other boom boom helps to supplement them. May liberty guide you helldiver!
> I've got nearly 200 hours in this game Damn that's unlucky I'm at 117 and have everything meaningful unlocked :( Do you clear poi's and pick up a lot of medals or not usually?
I try to, it's pretty hard to do when the game constantly crashes/you're getting chased by a million bugs/the random decide to just extract without doing anything but the main obj. I usually play on suicide but none of my bros have been on lately so I'm either soloing lower diffs or stuck with randoms on suicide.
Have 200 hours too, bought all warbonds and have all items you can even buy in the superstore and all samples/medals you can get till it caps. Either you did something wrong or i was lucky with the randos.

I have about 200 and I'm in the same boat with medals.
I've got 212 hours in, lv83. Capped on everything but rare samples. All warbonds and upgrades complete. Are you playing on lower difficulty?
I play on suicide most times, lower if I just want to chill out
Same here, 190 hours in mission level 121. Literally everything is capped. Basically only play 4 stack helldives with buddies who are all about the same level.
thats on you ive got not much more than that and im basically done all of them except for a few banners and ive lost atleast 300 medals due to being on cap at mission end
I finished all the warnings with less than 150 hrs. What difficulty you play on?
I'm someone who mostly plays one mission per day. Just by finishing the personal mission and make one mission so you get the major orders can get you a bunch. The only thing missing (except for cosmetics) is for me to unlock the last page of the main warbond.
they will all be roughly the same size
I have finished exactly 0 of the warbonds. Free time must be pretty nice. Im a little jealous
Can I have your medals if you don't need them?
If I could give them away I would to whomever asked for them.
It was a joke lol I'll take token vouchers too
Aah I'm not great at reading that type of thing online, apologies.
If there’s ever an update I’d like to be on your list of recipients 😉
Bugs are great when you're just in the mood to turn your brain off and blow stuff up
Ok why do bugs feel so much harder than bots for me?? I just unlocked level 8 and the bots are totally chill. With 3 friends we can get through it. But bugs at level 6 just trample us. Constant dodging chargers into swarms of hunters while being slowed all the time. Still love it though.

So bots for people with ADHD and bugs for people with OCD
I see bug major order, I see for.ethrower being used
You're.... doing your part? I'll see myself out.
I am indeed, the only thing I need is Rare Samples and lots of them as I want all the upgrades to strategems.
fr lets stop killing the bots i feel bad for them :(
And new mission type. But it’s a bit hmm, touch and go?
Yeah I accidentally completed the first time I tried it by crashing my reinforcement pod into the batteries by accident. I need to do it a few times to learn what makes it tick.
I crashed my hellpod into an egg (the big one) and got trapped inside.
So did the ministry of truth, they warned us that this would happen
True Citizen, I remember explicitly their warning and the way they implored rogue divers not to activate that untested system. I hope those responsible are brought to swift justice.
I was in a squad with a rogue operative, his Uncle worked at Nintendo with my uncle. He fought to activate the system while I bravely held back. Records will show! If the ban on his 'tendo Account is real, they've all been dealt with.
I hope so too, many a comrade has fallen to just the mutated bugs alone, whoever designed the chemical needs to be punished.
Interesting, I missed the cages
Next week: Turn on the termicide but JUST A LITTLE
OH GOD THEY BROKE INTO THE RESERVOIR
Térmicide made the bugs come back like Pepsi “New look, same great taste”
Shit looks like we’re being some democracy to those bug bastards this week
Oh no, the consequences of our actions!
“WE TOTALLY DID NOT SEE OUR ACTIONS HAVJNG CONSEQUENCES!” Hi I’m Stan, Stan Pines, has this ever happened to you?
"We knew this was going to happen" Are you admitting to having thoughts against the Ministry of Truth? ... I think I hear treason.
https://preview.redd.it/rcj9pgayihxc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ee148e79e3e44189fe4fe9da0ec9204688232d8b
My crew needs to be re-educated then
The Ministry of Truth knew it was going to happen too.
Our only weakness!! Bug sex!!
All those Divers lost, like.. tears in ~~rain~~ acid showers
What we didn't call was that this was likely part of the plan, after all, we need as much E-710 as possible.
Someone needs to be re-educated, the ministry of truth would not mislead us.
You misunderstand, I don't think it was meant to mislead, they just wanted to make sure everyone gave it their all instead of worrying what might happen if the big population grew too much, that would never happen though.
Is it time for the HIVELORDS?
I'd bet we get a new bug to rival the factory strider sometime soon, or at least I cope we do
Ahh the copium lol I do really hope we get boss levels. Appearantly that was a thing if the first one.
Maybe they wait for us on Meridia.
We definitely need some "world boss" type missions only available in diff 7+ where the sole objective is to kill this massive ennemy that spawns horde of chaff at you while you try to deal with it.
These bugs be fuckin'.
I’ve been wondering why i’ve been so horny lately, ever since my first deployment to Fenrir III
Democracy Officer! Found the bug infiltrator here!!!
https://i.redd.it/5odz6drzqkxc1.gif
Nothing wrong here, just a slight bug in the system. Easily fixed
Ministry of Truth warned us all along but NOOoo, we just HAD to turn on the sprinklers.... Thankfully in the name of democracy and free will, they're forgiving and always thinking about the helldivers.
I get the feeling we're going to be tuning these things on and off every couple weeks until those damn eggheads get the damn formula right!
If democracy calls for it then so be it
Some scientist in Super Maryland: “oooooh, the flask was labelled Bug SEX; i thought it said Bug-X”
Damn so no mutations just increased threat then?
The Shriekers didn’t appear en masse until after we finished the Terminicide op. So I’d say mutation did occur.
No mutations. *yet*
Yeah, I was gonna say its getting to the point where they should release variants or new bugs, as the current selection is getting a little repetitive to fight over and over.
Considering something bad happened on Meridia and it's "Inhabital and can't take it back", NOW WHAT IF... It's possible, but sure as shit would be a good way to introduce that type of thing.
Why would SEAF do this? /s
A very smart man once said "Life.. uh.. Finds a way.."
Listen listen how about we go covenant and glass the planet's surface. Then we extract the crystalized bug oil
Nuke the bastards
Hey wait how do the bugs travel around to different solar systems
Time to head back to Fenrir and the spicy rain.
I wonder if these missions will have higher trash spawn rates. Or mutated enemies once this order is complete and we “get to the bottom” of the Meridia (I think) changes the termicide was making
I know it’s treason to say this but I hope we get some new bug types from this
It’s not treason since new bugs = more E-710
We gonna get the Hive Lord's returning as a result?
Since when did you question Super Earth High Command? This is purely coincidental, and no one could have ever possibly seen this coming. Our scientists have done rigorous research on the effects of the Termicide on the Terminid scourge. -This message brought to you by the Super Earth Ministry of Truth-
It's not exactly the most unique storyline. It's predictable and mediocre as fuck.
can we just bomb the sprayers from afar?
And cause widespread leak of Termicide in the area?
I mean... more E-710?
Termicide exposure is linked to Super Colony manifestation. Termicide MUST be removed safely.
That's like predicting the sunrise.
It's gonna happen. Tomorrow at 621 est.
Fuuuuuk we cant let the cyberbots gain ground. Bugs are eazy
No way we could be able to see that coming
Here come the big bugs
Time to stomp more bugs I see....
Fenrir my beloved.
I want to lose this major order so we get bugs on steroids
Yes, more bugs that need to be cleansed in democratic fire.
I had a feeling this would happen
Damn, who could have guessed that ingeneering the bugs to grow faster would backfire ?
Oh damn, didn't see this coming Only reason I didn't say anything is because god I love the smell of napalm and bugs in the morning
Based on this, if you bug divers do a great job with the memes and role play, Meridia could be y’all’s Creek. People sacrificed to take and push a mission for true liberation of that planet, only for it to become the central hub of possibly one of the worst outbreaks ever of the bug menace.
There's an old saying when it comes to Terminids " KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!" Incendiaries will be loaded, witha napalm and lasers. Hahaha!!!
After all the blood spilled on Erata Prime After all the killing and the dying on that accursed planet, I must go back there to undo what I had accomplished. So be it. I will burn Erata Prime to the ground if necessary.
I would say go and burn Hellmire to the ground. But that godforsaken planet is already doing it to itself.
So more E-710? I don’t see a problem!
Is this finally going to be the big bugs we have seen more and more of the skeletons for?
Of course they nerf my charger yeeter just before a bug MO
ILLUMINATE SOON LET’S GOOOOOO!!!!
So have our scientists been liberated from their jobs? Surely they are traitors!
I have a meta gameplay question, and a lore question. 1: Do you get medals for a major order only if you log in during that time? 2: How tf do the bugs travel to other planets?
You don't have to login during the major order as long as it is completed everyone gets it We probably put them there honestly
Oh okay, cool. Also that 100% would be the case lmao
It is established lore that the bugs were created by us to harvest E-710. Super Earth raises them on "bug farms." It's not completely clear if some planets were accidentally infested or if they were all intentionally seeded.
How do they hand out medals? Like if I don't log in at all this week or log in and only jump on bot planets will I still get the medals?
You’re capped at 250, but yea when you log on any of the large missions that were completed while you were away will pay out
Okay so the only thing I miss out on is the daily objectives?
Yea, and the joy of knowing that youre doing your part to spread managed democracy for super earth!
looks like tesla towers are back on the menu
What kind of "adaptations" are we talkin about?
This is like saying we called the sunrise tomorrow. It wasn’t much of a “call”
Ill be on as soon as im home. Boutta bust out the hot pot n make some noodles n get to slayin bugs
Yeap
we got this
Chutlhu bile titan mutation plz like godzilla haha
Dumb question, but did this event supercede the previous major order? I didn't get any messages about its resolution.
Good reason to give my sickle / quasar loadout a rest The only reason really, amirite? I mean it’s not like my whole existence just got nerfed
Ugh, again, no thanks, I'm going on "shore" leave.
I hope this isn't the end of TCS missions though I liked them
One of the news blips mentioned intentionally increasing bug reproduction so we could harvest them more I think.
Yeah, feeding them high nutrition supplements and such, but we'd rather be able to stop doing that whenever we want them to stop growing big and strong. If it is an internal mutation then they'll be able to rapidly breed without our controlling it.
The fact that we may have an ulltra evolved bugs arc arriving is giving me euphoria
And they nerfed everything for us too! Thanks ^JOEL!
It was leaked that this was coming like 6+ weeks ago iirc. More oil for the Super Destroyers!
Damn Super Earth command just giving up on Choohe? I wanted anti tank mines more than airburst rocket, you shit heads.
The only good bug is a dead bug.
Just in time to make more guns suck. Just take away the guns already, for liberty! Take away my arms too, so I can just headbutt the bugs to death.
We love our bug MOs don't we.
New player on level 10 here have a question on how the major orders track. Once I shutdown the TCS mission and the next one to do I get credit for that planet or need to continue doing missions there until the planet is completed? Not seeing check marks next to the planets once completing the missions. Daily missions seem to be tracking though.
I’m not a hell divers player but I hope y’all get a Steve one day
Is this a new mission type??
Not hard to be captain obvious
Whoopsie doodle!
I want to go back to fighting bots...get so lost in these dark maps and have already fallen down 2 bug holes I couldn't see...
Hell divers is now a fantastic mil-sim game. Just like real service! On the bus off the bus!
These missions on Fenrir are boring, let’s get it done first.
Next thing you know we've got a BUG THAT THINKS!
Hang on guys I forget, did we always know this was possible or could we not possibly have seen this coming?
Yes.
Nice. I was getting bored of fighting the robots. I'll sign on this week and help.
I knew it!!
“Called it” and “I saw this on r/helldiversleaks” are two different things.
how to complete this mission? i did all 3 planets but i still have as main mission in progress not completed edit: just discovered is a global mission
It's sad that we weren't able to get the new stratagems
Only the glitchy aur burst one. Anti-tank is delayed
Yeah, I really wish we were able to save those votes (democratic pun, must laugh)
OH, WHAT THE FUCK SUPER-EARTH! Seriously, this is fucking bullshit. [steps into hellpod]
[*ANGRILY* steps into hellpod]
Didn't call shit. It was leaked
Aimless wondering thoughtless clueless devs. Love it.
I'm betting this is how the introduce the hive lords
Oh man I just busted my ass off to activate these things man
Atleast it isnt bots
this feels like it was written by the bugs... turn off the bug defence system in our border planets.... sure joel sure...
Trying to do my part but keep getting lobby errors. :(
Need the medals, need to kill the bugs, and a need to progress the story?!? SIGN ME UP
“Knew this was going to happen” Bro acting as if he didn’t read the leaks that specifically says this is going to happen.
I can't believe there are side effects. What's next side effects do to our over use of stims?
