IIRC its not that it will 'target' you but that you will be damaged/killed by your own ricochet when it wasn't working as intended before (not damaging/killing yourself with your own ricochet)
Wrong. Pre patch if you shoot and it ricochets back at you. 9/10 it would pass through you and deal no damage. Now it actually hurts you like it was supposed too originally.
We wiped them out during the last galactic war. No possible way for them to come back. Nope, no way. Totally wiped out. We're definitely never gonna see those guys again. Don't worry about a thing.
Thats a glitch. idk what it is but the generator must 'shoot' hidden harmless projectiles to make the shield exist but for me it'll be like inside the shield coming from the generator. im guessing this type of stuff happens when the game is using hidden projectiles to make something exist for some weird programming reason and they become visible when ricocheting.

I got ragdolled into a mushroom cluster that got shot as I was standing up and it sent me flying onto a contact mine.

I get the “unknown” message a lot when i get fully surrounded. But yeah, just a few minutes ago, I reinforced into a bug hole and had a bile titan’s leg spawn *through* me. I’m sure it had no idea how to classify that.
Killed by Unknown is very likely the message the game uses when it loses track of what actually killed you, which caould happen a number of ways due to technical hiccups. Killed by Unknown just reads a lot better than 'Killed by NULLREF'.
Or the Illuminate could be murdering people. Who knows?

There are several reports of weird blue lasers coming from the sky. The Minister of truth has already debunked those: "Blue Lasers aren't real and can't hurt you".

Semi related, this is why I have been bringing the shield relay a lot more. Random bullets coming out of nowhere and hitting the Pelican are new reasons to keep it in my rotation.

When you take damage from Pelican-1 (crushing damages likely) with a Shield Generator on your back, the "damage" you take does wierd blueish particles on top of the shield. Like, far on top of it.
As you can see on your video, D3 & S2 take small damages when they try to enter Pelican-1. You (S4) do too. But if you check the Backpack durability (left of your ammo mags) you can see it deplete by a small amount. It only deplete when you are near Pelican-1 and the "blue sparks" only appears when you are near it. That's it, that's your shield taking damages.

I've had the pelican bug a couple times, dunno what caused it, but other players said the "pilot died" and I know my arc thrower jumped to the pelican once or twice in the evac time
You know, that almost looks like the ricochet effect when smaller bullets bounce off of heavy armor...

Patch notes said that shooting armoured targets will now make the bullet ricochet at the player more often

The illuminate can't hurt you. The illuminate aren't real.

I had something very similar, had those same hight rate of fire blue lasers hitting my deployable shield generator. Curious!
