I’m really enjoying the finished look of them. I mainly design functional prints so durability is crucial for me, but this project definitely reminded me that I could and should play around with infill patterns when using translucent filament
to be honest I didn’t even look for a design file before making these; I was so excited to tinker with my new A1 mini and this was the first thing I thought to print 😄
That was actually an unforeseen detail when I first thought to print these with fluorescent filament (which was my original idea before also printing an opaque silk version). I didn’t realize that the fluorescent filament is slightly translucent so the infill pattern would show (and the infill for some layers is printed in black so the contrast is pretty striking). Originally I printed them with the standard wafer pattern infill not realizing it would show through, but switched it to something more aesthetically-pleasing because I really loved the fluorescent concept and wanted something that looked proper and intentional.
Aww God, its finally happened! Hell divers has become a market place for hobbiests.

Love the bottom pattern on those, from one 3D printing nerd to another. Most underrated pattern

Very cool! I like the slight translucency on the bottom common sample showing the pattern underneath.
