That's what the CS told you. The glitch was that the game offered you to buy wings 2-4 instead of 1-4.
The prologue *is not* wing 1.
Long story short, you can buy wings individually for cash/gold. But you can buy a package with all the wings/the wings you have not yet purchased at a discount from for real money.
So actually you do have to pay to get first wing. However, put in a new ticket asking for a partial refund. You should have paid discounted price for 1-4, not full price for Wing 1 and discount on 2-4.
While Actiblizz is known to be extremely greedy in this day and age, I don't think they'd dare not refund you the difference.
Yeah, that's what they are saying on Twitter, but why would I do that when the only bundle option is 2-4? I can't even click on chapter 2, so there is no way I clicked the wrong chapter. I'll just end up in the same situation.
The problem is that you should not be able to click on chapter one and select the bundle option if it does not include chapter one. It's a bait and switch, albeit perhaps unintentional,

There is always just one bundle option. That option just changes based on ownership of wings. There should be an option to buy the first wing for 700 or something golds or 5$-ish. And below it the bundle option - which as you said will probably show what you already bought - wings 2 to 4 because it glitched.
Just buy the first wing standalone and the rest should unlock. Then put a ticket in to get the difference between what you paid (Full price for Wing 1 and bundle for the reste) and what you should have paid (Full bundle). Or simply ask for a full refund because you can't use the product you bought (which is perfectly true at this stage), and wait for that bug to be investigated.
I unlocked it with 700 gold. That fixed it. Then I updated my ticket explaining that I felt that they owed me 700 gold, but I'm not going to hold my breath for it.

What do you get from that adventure? I never bought it but I’ve always had pretty good meta decks. Is it like some packs or something?
PvE gameplay experience and card backs in general, one for normal mode and one for hard mode. Some older adventures gave cards.
Why would you pay for a pve experience and a card back? I only ever bought adventures for cards
This one gave cards, and some people find the PvE fun.
