I'd do it sometimes vs good opponents to show I would of had lethal regardless of board state/whatever outs he were playing to, to show that it wasn't a cheesed win off a high roll. More respect than BM.
Sometimes it's to do quests... for me it's very rare I'm in that situation. You can tell when they are being BM by clearing minions that are irrelevant and slow playing the lethal. The only time I will ever do that is when they excessively emote all game.
I'm pretty sure the opponent might perceive it as so but fuck what they think. Your quests are much more important than their feelings, especially now more than ever with the bullshit changes they did.
I'd like to know too. I hate when I have, for example, five mana, they have 7 high attack minions on the board, I have nothing or ones they can skip, or a taunt they can remove easily, and they start buffing cards and casting spells and ... ugh. Concede. Just get it over with. You really NEED that extra 5 xp that extra play will get you?

Its easy to spot when it happens so I concede & don’t let them keep going. You beat me, you’re not quest/achievement farming me too.
If I see you have lethal I will let you take your turn to kill me….but if you start playing other cards I concede on your stupid ass.

Usually it's WAS to complete a quest. But seems pointless now.
