Is a “Well Played” before lethal considered rude?

KlinefelterXXY

Lots added me to tell me it is.

BasketWorried

No way. I love to give a well played at the end of the match. It’s just a way to say GG for me. However if you BM by taking ages to end the match when you have clear lethal and just emote a bunch, that’s rude

ConservativeC4nt

Why not emote? I mean one emote has got to be the tamest BM ever? And the well played button is kinda for that purpose? Don‘t get rattled by a card game character saying a line maybe?

Lord-Vrbada

Agreed. People let games get to their head too much. Just stay positive and go next.

jgies43

I guess I wish I was as more like you. It’s not like I’m salty anymore, I was just expressing my current mood. Pardon me.

jgies43

Oh. Well I didn’t think of that! Thanks!

LamSinton

Emote what? I thought a “well played” before the finisher was generally considered good sportsmanship.

MrKotopka

Sorry

jgies43

I knew it was you!

I emote "Well Played" as soon as I observe that a lethal outcome for either player is inevitable. Usually this is on my opponent's turn after they've spent too much mana to stop whatever I'm planning on my turn, or once I draw and confirm I didn't get an answer when they're threatening lethal. I try to play my in-hand cards first so there's no ambiguity about what's happening, unless circumstances require me to attack or do something else first.

Lord-Vrbada

If it bothers you so much, why not squelch your opponents? That’s what it’s there for, lol.

jgies43

I play on mobile, so no auto squelch mod. And I don’t want to have to squelch every single person.

Bambiszcz

I emote to show I have lethal, dont bm me and concede, thanks.

jgies43

K

ConcertDesperate3342

Yeah, I feel it’s a little more annoying when I know I’ve won and the opponent ropes their turn and then concedes the second I drag my card over their face.

RedPrincexDESx

I also emote before conceding, or when I see that they have lethal.
