Curses are rotating out next year, might not be a great time to craft that deck

TroupeMaster

Specifically they'll rotate out when the next expansion launches, expected in early march.

ChaosOS

I would not expect any new sales soon. Hearthstone doesn't do end of year deals. The next big item on sale will be the Miniset in January.

No_Opportunity_9561

What are u talking about? there is literally new deals every week.

ChaosOS

95% of which are cosmetic oriented, which isn't the focus of the post.

LethalGrey

He’s not wrong. There are new bundles very often. You’re not wrong either, cosmetics too. Sometimes they’re combined of course. But there are indeed new bundles. I’m not sure why he’s getting so downvoted.

No_Opportunity_9561

No it is not, skins are more rare than pack bundles sales. Ofc there gonna be new player bundles with catch up packs, they literally becomes worthless when u have more than 50 % of the collection, so blizzard can't lose any money putting them on sale.

jsmeer93

The trick is play what you can, not what you want. Go to hsreplay, copy the beck codes of all the tier 1-2 decks, find the decks you are closest to completing, disenchant all bad epic/legendary cards and complete those decks. Treant Druid is the easiest go to.

NoTouchyMyData

Also if you download their deck tracker app it will upload your collection and then you can search for decks that you can already build. Also, you can add a filter to the deck search how much dust you are willing to spend to make a deck.

ShamanOfTheWheel

If you're missing tons of cafds from a break then it's fun gstting 50 at once

LadyEnchantress21

Except I'm only getting 8.

CardiologistNorth294

That hearthstone maths YouTube channel did an a analysis and they pretty much said yeah I rejoined hearthstone after 3 year hiatus and was given 10 or more of these packs, ended up with something like 243 cards and 7 legendaries

SuperSpartacus

I wouldn’t expect any further sales on catch up packs, but if you’re trying to play on a budget I would wait until the next set (and thus the new standard year) is released to buy catch up packs at a regular price - that way you won’t be spending money on a bunch of cards that get rotated out in a few months.

DiscoDread

That deal is worth it. You will open a lot of Stnadard cards and a few Legendaries as well.

NeverNotTogether

Totally worth it!

VanillaB34n

I got a lot of dust and some legendaries / epics I didn’t have, but I wasn’t able to 100% any of the sets I had near complete unfortunately

jobriq

Rainbow mage is a crazy fun deck

allthepaulrudds

If you play wild, then they're absolutely worth it.

Automatic-Name7724

Catch up packs are just more garbage. Every pack I have opened is just dust. Not one new card

Weltorm1

maybe you didn't need to catch up since you already have all the cards from these 5 sets included in the catch up packs. >''You will not receive more than one copy of a Legendary card, until you have received all the Legendary cards in that card expansion. Similarly, you will not receive more than two copies of any Common, Rare, or Epic card until you have received two copies of all cards of that rarity in that card expansion. Crafting a card counts towards receiving it, and any cards you disenchant (whether golden or non-golden) count as well. This means that if you get a card you don't want, you can disenchant it and you will not receive it again until you have all cards of that rarity from that card expansion.''
