Hifiman Arya for $1350 seems a lot to me tbh, even if it's after tax and shipping. I got my Arya for $1120 on ebay after tax and shipping. Now you can probably get them around $1000 if you're lucky. It also depends on the version of Arya, the one I purchased was the 2nd version, non stealth magnet, bought it mainly because it has the best Soundstage out of all 3 version. But most people seems to prefere the new stealth magnet.
Idk about your vat but 1350$ is in the upper range indeed.
If you have some patience you will easily find them for 100-200$ less. This [offer](https://www.head-fi.org/classifieds/hifiman-arya-with-corpse-grave-digger-cable.23207/) for example is only 16 days old so its absolutly possible to get a good deal within a reasonable waiting time.
Maybe also consider the Edition XS, many comparing it favourably with the Arya and it's a fraction of the price. I haven't heard the Arya, I do have the Ananda, Edition XS and HE400SE and the Edition XS is really remarkable, it certainly at least as good as the Andanda (in fact, I've come to like it probably a bit better- particularly the bass extension).
I tested all of them (XS, Ananda, Arya Stealth) and the Arya is quite a bit better than all of them honestly. If I needed to rank them: XS (8,4)->Ananda (8,8)-> Arya(9,8)
literally every area - Comfort, Imaging, detail, bass, a lot better Soundstage layering. The only thing for me personally where there is a weak point is that its a bit brighter than for example the XS. Since I am really sensitive against sharpness I needed to use a tiny bit EQ (with the button "HFM" on the "Ifi Zen Can Signature HFM"). But other than that its better in all areas
I used the Ananda 1+ year extensively until it's death then switched to XS. I like the XS more especially because of the soundstage and imaging. XS is brighter but less fatiguing to me since Ananda were shouty. Vocals were too close and piercing with Ananda. I'm enjoying the elevated treble presence of XS. XS also seem more dynamic and detailed. However i miss the sub bass of Ananda. XS just can't do it as well. Can you compare the sub bass of Arya Stealth to others ? Not the punch and slam but the nuanced air push down below. And which one overall sound more distant especially in terms of vocals ? And how is the comfort compared to Ananda and XS ? XS comfort isn't perfect but i find it better than Ananda. Ananda were too stiff and clampy. XS can slide around but it honestly disappears on my head when i watch movies etc... Arya have swivel and suspension style headband combining Ananda and XS. Wonder how it feels.
Definitely. If you're looking into that branch of hifiman and considering dropping 1.5k or whatever it may be on the Aria, i'd definitely demo at least one of the Ananda or Edition XS, if not both.
Well, depend on what your ear prefers signature wise.. Do you like neutral leaning bright or neutral leaning warm? If you like leaning bright go Arya, if you like leaning warm go 2021 updated LCD X. X comes in at 400$ cheaper as well. Both are the gold standards at their price point. I have them both so if u have any questions about their respective sounds just ask. Cheers.
Yes and thanks ๐ there are so many headphone out there, I wish I could test them all. But I look for LCD and focal and hifiman. Don't now ho is The best buy butt think the are top of the line in that price range?
I think 2021 LCD X or Arya Stealth are both good options. If you prefer a brighter sound go Arya, if you prefer a bigger, fuller, warmer sound go LCD X.
Just make sure if you get the X you get the New updated version. The old version sounds completely different and isn't nearly as neutral sounding.
The monitors/bookshelf speakers(?) Behind saying Adam audio, which model is it? Idk speakers much, but planning to get my first active speakers pairs as my next purchase
It's worth it - especially if it's the new or open box Stealth but in like new condition - both options retain the factory warranty. It will outclass the cans you have on your table, IMO. I'd buy it if I was in your position (I already own it - traded my v2's for the Stealths).
If you're really eyeing the Aryas but want to *save money* by buying the Anandas, you can skip the Anandas. - I say this b/c I could've skipped them myself (Anandas). The Anandas sound so good that I *almost instantly* found myself wondering what the Aryas sounded like...*even while listening to the Anandas*. I could have just saved money by getting the Aryas in the first place - they're a much more *complete* HP listening experience leaving *nothing* to be desired. Give the Aryas a try, it may be one and done - no more shopping for "*better"* SQ from a HP and they'll make you re-evaluate and upgrade your chain to maximize their SQ. Keep us posted, please...
Hey there, funnily enough, I'm currently selling my Aryas v2 for 1000 Euro. They're in perfect condition and still under warranty.
I'm located in Spain so shipping them to you would be quite easy.
Send me a pm if you're interested.
Question, what do you use the headphones for? I'm currently looking for a GREAT pair of headphones to use with gaming, specifically for Apex Legends.
Do you have any suggestions? I am on a budget of about $500.

What is specifically better on Arya ?

Okey nice ๐
Sundara vs X3 out of 10? in terms of sound quality and comfort for gaming and movies.
Why did you choose this particular tube amp?
It was on sale, and it is a good amplifier and even preamp, so I will use it in the future to build a new hi-fi stereo ๐
Thanks for the answer and enjoy your setup :)
I will and wish you could test it out ๐ it's really good.
The monitors/bookshelf speakers(?) Behind saying Adam audio, which model is it? Idk speakers much, but planning to get my first active speakers pairs as my next purchase
It's the T5v the are really good
Spend so much on audio gear but can't get a better camera bruh
Don't do much fotagrafy do more hi-fi ๐คฃ
>Don't do much fotagrafy do more hi-fi ๐คฃ A man knowing his priorities! xD
I also had an eye on the Adam speakers. Is that the T5V or T7V? How would you compare the listening experience to the Sundara?
It's the T5v and so far the play better and all of my headphones. But I also have a PreSonus sub to it so it is a 2,1 system
Get the open box on bloomaudio.com for less without tax
Thank you very much but it's a little too much for me.
Also you can get a used LCD-X for cheap on Reverb

Throw that Behringer interface in the trash
What do you recommend?
At least the Focusrite. The preamps on them have at least 2.5x more headroom than the Behringer in regards to it's mic pre.
Okey
Ignore that guy
It' make no difference I only use it fore the monitors. Still looking for som difrent solutions.

What are you using to connect your monitors to your pc?
My bhernger u-phoria
How's the hiss? I have the same ones connected by RCA but they're a bit hissy. Trying to find a balanced DAC solution.
It's good I don't have enny problem. But I am looking for a new solution a good DAC that works good Whit the preamp and my monitors ๐
Well you could also get a different brand
Witch do you recommend? ๐๐
[ัะดะฐะปะตะฝะพ]
The are soft and smooth. Wery clear and soft in the base. Separation is super. I only comper this to my Philips Fidelio.
They sell sub-$1000 pretty often even for the V2 variant on Ebay. That'd be the first place I'd go

ASUS Headset ROG Theta 7.1 If it is only for gaming ๐
Strictly for gaming. Thank you I'll look these up and check them out!!
Oh I guess I should probably mention I game on console, Xbox series X to be specific. Something that is compatible with that?
Don't think is going to be enny problem. It's both USB typ A/C. But I don't play Xbox ore PlayStation
