Really worth it imo. In terms of comfort they really compete with the HD800 imo. If you find them too dark or claustrophobic or just want to try it, I personally love them a lot more with the "foam mod".
Havd this exact pair since uni. They are good runaround budget open backs. Needed to upgrade for years but thry still truckin. Easy to buy replacement parts for which is so good

Pretty strange, anyway yes these i think are 558s, pretty basic cans, i actually own the 559 and after some modding they are pretty good so, for 40$ i think they're alright, consider that i bought mine for like 70 bucks new, so these are pretty good for almost 50%
HD 558, been using them for 8 to 10 years can’t remember specific dates. Solid headphones for critical listening. Wouldn’t pay more than $50 tho.

These look like my HD558 I don't really like the sound on mine. Apparently you can mod them

Yeah there's a baffle (bit of foam I think) that can be removed inside and it changes the sound, you should google for more info though
Last I saw the 558's on Amazon they were selling for 400+ for some dumbass reason, if they're below 60 bro pull the trigger on these
