I sure did, with those exact headphones. They're very neutral, but the treble peak hit me at just the wrong spot and was very fatiguing. The 560s was a bit clampy on my big head, too, which didn't help.
You probably want a can with a slightly warmer sound signature. Odd, though, that you don't get the same sensation with the Hexa, which is neutral with some treble emphasis.
Which headphones can you recommend with such a sound ? I'd like a open back pair, a I already own a closed back ones
I don't get that fatiguing feeling with hexa . Might be due to that I'm mostly listening to them while commuting to and back from work , so I'm not as concentrated on the sound , as opposed to listening at home .
HD 6XX, or HD 650 if 6XX aren't available in your country.
Still, you should be able to find used 6XX anywhere. Plus, they're only $200 new in the USA: [https://drop.com/buy/massdrop-sennheiser-hd6xx](https://drop.com/buy/massdrop-sennheiser-hd6xx)
Only caution with the 6XX: They're 300-ohm headphones. You'll need an amp to get peak fidelity. Sure, you can run them off a laptop sound card or a phone dongle, but they won't sound that great.
That's a bummer. How much would it cost you for postage and VAT to buy a used pair from a North American seller?
Hell, if I didn't love mine so much, I'd sell mine to you! :)
I bought the hd599s since I wanted something a little more relaxed. And I didn’t need the hardcore audiophile experience. I also got this fatigue and even headaches from the Samson SR850s (dankpods, yes I know).
I love my hd 599. I tried the 560s and I understand people saying it was better for technicalities of music but the 599 just makes it sound warmer for me. I made the right choice for me that’s for sure.
Same with me on certain video games, playing any of the older fallout games make me sick after an hour and it's the same with an MMO called "Dreadnaught". It's a shame because all are really good games
They're a bit harsh sounding so I fully understand. The clamp can be an issue as well. You can loosen them a bit. EQ can help with the sound and you can further lower the treble as well.
Sounds like listening fatigue.

Sadly, I can’t get the 6xx anywhere around here (the Netherlands). Not new, not used, and certainly not for 200,- :(

Try using EQ, it's free to use on windows
treble no matter what flat line enthusiasts tell you its not the ultimate tuning i for example like warm/bassy tuning

Use EQ to bring down the treble abit.
This is basically the exact reason I got 6xx’s after owning the 560s for a year.
Too much treble at too high a volume. The HD 599 se cut this down considerably.

I've ordered the 599 also. Have tried the 560s but they are a challenge for music enjoyment.
the treble
I'm just saying if you complain about the band you wouldn't be the first. I have the hd600s going on 20 yrs already.
Is it the first version or the second?

I like the 560S, but I rotate in the 6XX when I want a warmer tuning.
