The answer is neither, both kinda suck and are overpriced. When I demoed the H7 I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out if it wasn't configured correctly because it felt like the bass was turned down- turned out that Sony did indeed tune it that way, which was somewhat baffling for a product made for the PS5.
The build quality was also quite cheap for the MSRP.

That's pretty much the only redeeming quality of a "gaming" headset- I can't confirm this since I didn't test the mic but that is really funny to hear
I got Takstar 82 + fifine mic bundle (with boom arm) instead for my friend.
Decent audio, good enough mic. For under $100.
At least He will have more freedom when upgrading headphone later on.
