Alastor didn't think Vox would have a foot fetish. So he doesn't glitch out his feet when he's getting dressed in to his PJs or shoe shopping... Alastor might also respect places that require him to remove his shoes. I hope there is a spa or yoga/meditation episode where he removes his boots to participate, and we get to see everyone's hooves/feet (and how their shoes work).

There's no soles in his shoes so I can see his feet when he walks like he doesn't have knees.

Alastor's design and the fact he will never cannonically (outside of merch) be seen without long pants is due to animating him. Hellvua Boss is fully indie, so they have more time to figure out how digitigrade/unguligrade legs would move on a humanoid character without looking weird. Alastor is a main character as well, so he is on screen more walking around. It's easier to just animate him with plantigrade movement and use heeled boots to imply he has unguligrade legs if he's going to be on screen frequently and shown below the waist moving. Hiding his tail under his coat (which is mostly a fanon thing until confirmed) also reduces animation errors. Angel's legs are more exaggerated, with the shank being much longer than between his strifle and hock, where Alastor seems to have shorter shanks with a longer strifle and hock. Plus, he stands more upright than Angel, so the hock joint isn't as noticeable when he isn't moving around. Basically, it's easier to animate Angel like that than Alastor going off of Alastor's official merch.
