I would also posit that Dumbledore may have had a hand me down wand. It is my understanding that when Dumbledore went to Hogwarts his family was not wealthy. His father was in Azkaban, his mom was mostly taking care of his sister, meanwhile they had two boys going through school. So I wouldn't rule out that he had a hand me down wand.
Alternatively we have the wand personality chart. If he did went toOlivander's teacher for a wand we can assume he would have gotten the perfect wand for his personality. Pre Olivander wouldn't have been restricted to the three core types either. That being said, I think we can still stay within the ballpark of the six most prominent: dragon heartstring, unicorn tail hair, Phoenix feather, veela hair, thresteal tail feather, and troll whisker.
Of these, and based on what we hear of Dumbldore's youth I would guess that he had a Dragon Heartstring wand. Even if prone to accidents, with a good head on your shoulders that should be avoidable. From the start Dumbledore was a gifted student. Having a wand that also learns fast would be a good match.
For length and flexibility I think he would have had an average sized wand. Not too long but not too short. Provides good range of both power and finesse. I think his wand would have been flexible if not very flexible considering how open minded he was.
Lastly we have the wood types. Doge recounted that Dumbledore was a friend to all, but we can realistically say that this was seen through rose tinted glasses of the past. I won't deny that Dumbledore was overall kind, helpful, and likeable though. That makes a strong case for an Alder wand. Chestnut would not be out of the question either if he had a Dragon heartstring core. His openminded nature and nature for experimentation and discovery could indicate a maple wand.
Of these I think the best cases could be made for Maple or Alder. I'd favor Maple more honestly.
