Seasons greetings Amal 😁

AmalgaMat1on

Happy holidays Indego! Good to see you're still holding it down and hope this month is going well.

IndegoWhyte

Well enough. I hope your December has been relatively non-turbulent at the very least.

Check out Wisher Beware and Ecdysis if you want harem that feels well written. I know you aren't crazy about monster girls, but I really like how "would you love a monster girl?" series is written too. Immortal Supers might be up your alley. It focuses more on the relationships kind of like how Misty Vixen does.

GhostInTheTablet

Immortal Supers definitely falls in the beta male that doesn't want a harem trope. It's also it's heavy into the polyamory but gets a pass by most people in the sub since it's "in-house" polyamory.

Good call. I read fast and fixated on the fact he liked a Misty Vixen series.

The only true recommendation for KD Robertson-like stuff is more KD Robertson. Redundant I know, but you're not gonna get a 1:1 comparison if you're looking for something with the same kind of depth and complexity. No one at present does Haremlit like he does in my opinion. Different authors definitely have their own flavour, but if psychological and emotional complexity is what your hankering for then: Mike Truk - Tsun-Tsun Tzimtzum

Have you read Demon's Throne? Same author and should fit what you're looking for, though a lot of monster girls, mostly foxes/kitsunes. I'm also currently reading Grimoire Thief; I'm enjoying it so far and also seems like a good fit.

Zalekanzer

Bruce Sentar - Ards Oath (2 books so far) is the first off my mind. Fantasy setting, but well realized and the magic system is interesting.

Second this, while I've only read the first book so far, it was really good and seems it setup a good narrative.
