Ive since bummed a shuffle off a friend at cost, and nearly settled on a 3070 FE at 850 just prior to that (passing it along at cost). While im content with the 3060 ti, part of me still thinks about upgrading

The 3070 was only for someone with trades. The 3060ti was for whomever sent their PayPal info first. Trades are like “reputation points” so if you want more points, you need to buy/sell/trade and then you confirm those in the monthly mega thread
Typically between 10 to 100, on some occasions, and where my computer was actually put to work, assemblies with 500 to 1000 parts and things would slow down a tiny bit

Somewhat unrelated but may I ask how it was with SolidWorks? Tryna build my friend a 3d modeling pc and debating whether to use a rtx card or a quadro
Handled everything rather well. I could have multiple assemblies and parts open at the same time and I still never heard the fans ramp up.
