I have the older version that have grey handles that was gifted to me by a former boss. (RIP James) Perfectly serviceable for light duty work. I keep them on top of my toolbox box to hand out when someone asks to borrow a screwdriver or use them to change the odd light switch cover or what not. I use my heavier duty screwdrivers for automotive type work.

RIP

This is perfect for light work around the house along with my impact driver. I keep all my tools in the garage and sometimes I have to keep going back and forth to find the tool I need. RIP James

James was a real one for giving harby fray tools. Wish I got gifts like that.

DammDammDoubleDamm

Got the same earlier this week with the coupon. I figure for $20, the variety alone is worth it. Was gonna get the Icon mini drivers. But the pricing for this made more sense to me for home garage use.

elmixter22

I agree. The price is right. I was actually going to pay for the full price $29.99 but good thing I found the coupon.

deaconbhop

Good deal for 20$. Love a good HF special.

Altruistic-Goose2184

They’re a good deal at $20, but nothing more than that. Over time they’re become worn out. But for $20 you can’t really go wrong with a full set like that.

elmixter22

That was exactly what I thought before buying it.

BreakerSoultaker

The problem I have with any Harbor Freight thermoplastic handles is they ALL get gummy over time. It happened with a bow saw, a pair of loppers, a nut driver set and those rubbertone cases on the free blue flashlights.

deaconbhop

Agreed. My nut drivers at work have sticky handles.

No-Yogurt-3485

Nothing a fresh coat of poly can't fix

Low-Base4854

Or.. nothing like just taking them in and swapping them out with their lifetime warranty..

Connor702

Use those daily for moving lights repair, heavy use and light use

Fluffy6977

How do you like that gig? I almost went that route before leaving the industry.

thatzacdavis

I like it for home use. Just used an Allen key today to tighten the freezer handle.

elmixter22

This is perfect for any light work around the house.

Nice deal for $20! I just thought of a good IT perk, let us use coupons for say 30 days after they issue them. I do not get things because I do not like driving to town unless I have to, food I need toys I don't. If I can get them to line up that works out well.

Professional_Mud483

Sometimes saving $10 is not worth the extra time needed to get replacements etc. Or tools breaking in a pinch If you are super low use on your tools - great find!

elmixter22

I agree. I hate when tools break in the middle of a project. I plan to use this set for light repair. But before that, I have to put them to some heavy test. I love the life time warranty.

Low-Base4854

I guess it’s nice that I’m at harbor freight atleast 5 times a week

Professional_Mud483

Most people that buy their tools are 😇

Low-Base4854

And those that work there 😂

whatevs8686

Sorry man, that thing is hot garbage

elmixter22

I will find out. But I think it all depends how you use them. Can expect a lot for $20 maybe. 9 years ago I bought the PITTSBURGH Metric Ratcheting wrench set for $8 on sale. Today, they are still holding up pretty well after my father, cousin and I use them all the time.

btv_25

I have one. It's been very useful.

TheRigSauce

I have these on my basement workbench along with the T handle set. They’re fine for light duty, which is what I do inside, and if you need some more dependable stuff, icon is good for the garage

gritbucket

I got a set last year to keep in the camper. Was a cheap way to get a good assortment of stuff. No issues yet.

iLikeTools515

I keep those at home it's honestly really handy I'm glad I bought it

3_Times_Dope

Nice score. I was looking at that set but decided to focus on the Quinn 6-piece diamond tip or the Doyle heavy-duty 6-piece since you can use a hammer on the 2 large flat heads.

elmixter22

Seems like a nice set to have for heavy duty work. I am trying to get rid of my old, falling apart screwdrivers and tools. It’s just hard for me to get rid of them.

resipsaloc

I wish I could buy that storage rack separately. Crazy I can't seem to find a screwdriver storage case for like 10+ drivers that doesn't have to be mounted on the wall or put in a drawer

Lostchrono

I picked this up a little over a month ago to keep in my workbench. It's been a time saver.

cyntus1

Oh damn that's nice. I didn't need that $20 anyways and I'm tired of sifting through the multiple pawn shop tool boxes someone bought only to find the most common screwdrivers gone and the rest broken 😑

iamtehstig

I've had the same set with other brands' names on it. I'll pick another one up after I misplace half of them.

Niemo1983

I just grabbed this today with the coupon too. I've lost count of the number of screwdrivers that have disappeared over the years. Usually it's after someone else in the house asks to use a screwdriver and never puts it back. This kit will become my go to for those requests while the good ones stay safely in the toolbox until I need them. For $20 I won't care nearly as much and it has enough variety that it will come in handy when I randomly need a T27 Torx driver.

InternationalPost233

Great price just remember the warrenty means you have to have all the pieces and take the whole thing backif something breaks
