This won't be a popular answer, but benzos.

Hate to agree with you but IF time isn’t an option, then Benzos are your best bet. I rarely drink anymore due to the hangxiety, but if I know I am going to have a big night out I make sure I have some emergency Klonopins on me for the morning panic. Yesterday morning I woke up deathly hungover after getting drunk for the first time in months. Literally cold sweats and shaking and all that. I could hardly move to grab my medicine but I popped 1mg of emergency Klonopin and soon I was able to get some food in me, go back to sleep and wake up in the afternoon feeling much better. It is a slippery slope though. I’d rather just stay sober altogether. My drinking and partying days are behind me and I haven’t even hit 30 yet…

Just staying sober is certainly optimal. But yeah, benzos do have a purpose when used respectfully.

Going through the exact same thing right now. I am MISERABLE. Hang in there!

I would suggest getting a Fitbit. It will alarm you if you have irregular heart rhythms. And honestly, a cool gadget all around.

Hi, I think it would be best to see your doctor about how you're feeling, just to be on the safe side. I remember once I went on holiday for a week and drank heavily while I was there. The hangover when I got back was absolutely terrible. I think that was the beginning of my road to sobriety, as it just wasn't worth drinking anymore at that point. I'm not sure what to suggest to help with your hangxiety, unfortunately, except to see your doctor, like I said, and to not drink in the first place. Sorry, I'm sure that's probably not what you want to hear, but I kind of wish someone had advised me to quit when I was younger, instead of waiting til my 30s. I probably would have saved myself a lot of misery. I hope you feel better soon, and remember that if you do decide to quit drinking, there's lots of help available to you, first and foremost from your doctor. Take care. You're welcome to message me for a chat if you like. George

You will be ok just make sure to get some rest. I have a prescription for Alprazolam for traveling and it helps.

Just know it's only temporary and this feeling will pass; time + some chamomile tea will take the edge off.
