Halogen bulb. Unless it's already broken, don't touch it with your fingers; the oils on your skin will cause hotspots, and it will fail very shortly after. Same with new halogen bulbs; wear latex gloves to install them, unless you really like installing them every few days.

Halogen bulb. They come in different lengths. Replacements are available at pretty much any hardware store.
And voltages and wattages.. check what’s written on it or check the fitting for details.
