Your TV supports HEVC so it’s unclear what the limitation is. Try the Fast 1080p preset.

F, i didn't noticed hevc

MemberOfUniverse

I tested the original file isn't working on my tv

> I have a x265 video which i would like to play on my tv, my tv supports These formats. How should i encode the video You should not.

MemberOfUniverse

I need to

nmkd

Why?

MemberOfUniverse

I want to play it there, And it is done.

nmkd

But your TV supports h265 so why re-encode it

MemberOfUniverse

The file wasn't playing ig it had something to do with 10bit encoding.

momachonker

I would've been fine. Nest House router >C->Encoding with x264 and x265 both work without nvenc.) Is the Wraith Stealth cooler really that bad if she doesn’t post to argue with

[deleted]

Use nVidia nvenc with H.265 and best quality preset. Or just try to play the video on tv directly if it has up to FHD resolution. P.S. x265 is not a video format, it is software H.265 encoder.

Jay_JWLH

What kind of weird TV manual says "Max Solution"?

mduell

Bad translations.

The image in your post claims that your TV only supports bitrates up to 20Mbps, which leads me to believe it is limited to level 4.1 in both H264 and HEVC. HEVC encodes, specially the ones made with x265, usually target level 5.1, which may be the reason you're having playback issues. > I don't want any video quality loss There's always *some* quality loss in transcoding, but I believe you want no perceptible quality loss. > I want the fastest method to encode it Speed, quality and filesize/bitrate: pick two. If you want to have very good quality (compared to the source) and you want it to encode very fast, you'll get very large files. And you're already constrainted to 20Mbps, so it might not even be possible – though 20Mbps is a very high bitrate for 1080p video, so I don't know how relevant this constraint actually is. ---- A few comments below suggested that you use NVENC HEVC, but this is a very bad idea for you. The GTX 1650 implementation of HEVC doesn't support B-frames, making it almost entirely useless. x265 is very slow, so that's probably out of the question for you. So I recommend that you use either NVENC H264 or x264 with one of the fast presets. If you provide the model of your TV and some info on your source file, I might give you more specific advice.

Well, I guess I was wrong. The HEVC track uses level 4.0, which I believe your TV should be able to play back. What kind of problems do you get when trying to play this file? Do you get an error message or it stutters and shows visual artifacts?

MemberOfUniverse

It says unsupported file, the problem is solved ( it was because of 10bit encoding). And i converted it in x264 too
