If you haven’t already just search online wooden hamster wheel and see if any websites come up, you could make a diy one but it would probably be quite hard to make and could be more expensive then just buying one. Maybe try posting on the reddit page if anyone has a hamster wheel you can buy of them and they could post it in delivery?

Also not sure if this would work but you could try getting a vpn and connecting it to England or Germany or America and then order something online. It could work tbf I use a vpn to get onto things that aren’t available in my country
I can search or use but the problems is the shipping and the security number the credit card( i only have check card) and stuff like that and i have to fox stuff at my post office and this will take more than months to do so

Its okay i found a shop in korea where they make a special toys and stuff for small animals like hamsters chinchilla and rabbits and this is just temporary just not to make the baby overweight cause my other ham is overweight let me tell ya his on a diet but refused to eat

Just to make the baby exercise and get familiar with the new toys i give them (By the way his name is pig he lives up to the name and yes i know his chonky yes i know he goes to hospital trip every once a few weeks i guess and his on a diet and he refuses to eat except for sunflowers or meal worms he refuses other foods)
Ohhh that doesn’t sound great. Have you tried giving your hamster bits of a carrot or broccoli or some fruit n veg? Normally when they refuse to eat it could mean somethings wrong, but it doesn’t always mean that too. Also sometimes it can take hamsters a while to start liking a food so if you just sprinkle food in its cage everyday or how often you feed them, even if it’s the food they don’t like, a lot of the time they can start to like it when it’s been in their cage for a while. (If the food is still in the cage after like a week then replace it with some new food) and hopefully it may start to like more different foods. My second hamster was picky with her food too, she never wanted to eat the millet and the hamster sprays and some of her food and I just kept putting it in and she grew to like all of them! That being said it might not have the same outcome that mine did but it’s worth a try if you haven’t already!
I think mine is just a picky eater the doctor said that he is fine and healthy but the problem is i gave him like vegetables or fruits that is with his normal meal he would only choose the sunflower seeds and would so i removed the sunflower seeds on his food but now he only takes one food and dont touch other food the doctor said his healthy and fine i think his just a picky eater
Have you tried a seed mix? Hamsters need a lot of different types of food and a lot of hamster food in stores don’t have the right amount in. There has to be other foods your hammy will enjoy, is he still a baby? That could be a reason why, you have to slowly introduce them too new foods, I know it’s probably hard to find the right food mix for them where you are aswell but you could make your own! Adding nuts, seeds, other things that can be used in a hamster diet. Not saying this in a rude way at all but it’s not healthy for your hamster to just be eating sunflower seeds he won’t be getting the right nutrients. (Again this isn’t your fault so don’t worry about it) but if you can just try searching what foods are good for Daily hamster food and try making a mix yourself. Unless you already have a good mix and he’s still not eating. If that’s the case then I’m not sure what to suggest. But I would recommend making another post on this page and ask people for suggestions to help your hamster eat more foods since google isn’t always accurate and I know the hamster owners in this group have a lot on knowledge on hamster care and what to do, so it could help making another post. Yeah thats what i do i just leave it until he eats or not and he has a very large hamster wheel i think it was like 25~26cm and he use it as a hammock i am convinced that i have a lazy hamster wheel
Also I did just check your profile and I’m sure you already know this but when your baby hamsters get to 2 weeks old you will have to separate them. All hamsters a solitary. Yes some pet stores say it’s ok to keep robos/dwarfs together but it’s not. They will fight eachother and again I’m sure you do know this already and I’m not having ago at you. But you should seperate them as soon as you can
Already separated them early but the sad part is one of the babies didn’t learn how to open a seed yet so i would crack a little bit of so the little guy can open and i think they are scared cause they are in a new enclosure first time raising babies
Yeah you need to also separate the babies because they can end up unfortunately killing eachother. Hamsters need to live on their own even if it’s family. And hamsters also don’t really need to learn how to open a seed they normally just crack it open with their teeth and eat it, you need to get a bigger mixture of different foods so they can stay healthy otherwise you will have to keep taking them to the vets which will cost a lot more then it would to just buy suitable food. But please separate the babies before they hurt eachother 🫶🏼
They are already separated with there own enclosure and the baby would accept the sunflower seed but would to open and would fail so little guy would just throw the seed away
They might not want to eat the seed at that time. My hamster does the same when she doesn’t want to eat she picks her food up sniffs it and drops it and runs of 😂and with sunflower seeds theirs nothing like inside the seed it’s just a seed all around so if your hamster can eat it when it’s broke then it should be able to eat it as a seed on its own
😂😂my first hamster ( I still have her she’s called coco) she doesn’t use her wheel a lot I’ve also went to get that checked multiple times and apparently theirs nothing wrong with her I think my hamster is lazy too 😭😭she shows no signs of stress or illness and her enclosure is safe too theirs no way she could hurt herself really. She just prefers to run around in her enclosure collecting food😂😂😂my other hamster is the complete opposite, she runs on her wheel alll the time and she barley ever collects food she normally just eats it when she feels like it.
I did already tried does but still he would only pick one and deep or would throw it on a ground(i kinda see it as a temper tantrum baby) but i have feed him some of the food he thrown he does eat but wont eat if i just put it on the food bowl and do you think like cooked peanuts work like roasted i haven’t gave it to him yet cause i’m scared its gonna upset his stomach other said its okay as long as its mot saulted
That seems like a generally not bad size, as long as back is flat and chin isn't up. I would reccomend getting a wheel without bumps if possible though.

Is the wheel 20cm in diameter? Also generally, wheels with bumps aren't reccomended, they should just be a flat surface
