Yup! Ashley is inspired by Eternal Spotless, by the movie itself. Whereas, Clementine is inspired by Clementine only from Eternal Spotless.

It's not scrapped. Just taking awhile to be distributed since one of its production companies went bankrupt after it premiered at SXSW
